Thanks Kevin, a long awaited computing upgrade has arrived and set the wheels in motion, have a bit of a backlog to work through, this is going to be a busy winter!
I absolutely loved this guys! Lindsay’s bit about how Bikepacking doesn’t always need to be hard struck a chord with me, especially since my last trip was also a shorter one. Thanks for sharing, can’t wait for more!!
Cheers Allen, there's definitely a perception that to be a credible journey it has to achieve either some distance, or elevation or specific route. I think we've come round to the fact that exploring by bike gives a lot of freedom, and joy. Doesn't mean we won't do some long hard efforts as well. I think it's just we're not afraid to relax, take the pressure off and not be afraid to make a video showing that. Easy to look around at bike packing content on here and feel sometimes that everything is so epic, that you can't compete. We're just going to do us and if people watch great, if they don't, we'll have an epic family video collection for the grandkids 🤣
Hi Allen, great to hear from you! I think this is something bikepacking has taught us well. Slow down, experience more! Since the journey is the whole point, the destination really doesn't matter too much!
Absolutely, do get out there, its not always 21 Degrees and blue skies, but its a stunning place! we've had our share of wet days out the west as well.
Well done bikepacking that notorious bogfest, I found it tortuous just walking it, but other than that, Jura is a beautiful place, as you well show in your video 👍
@@TerraVenture If you mean the other track that leads to Loch an T-Siob, I haven't but I will next time! It's longer and involves more ascent, but I'd gladly take that over the bog fest that is the normal route to the lochan, but I'm guessing that track may be blocked off, or maybe it's just as boggy!
Thanks for taking the time to comment, we both really appreciate it. It's great to be back and full of enthusiasm. Winter season approaching which we're looking forward to!
Thank you both for such a wonderful video. I have only just finished watching Ben Fogles Scottish Island series and I just find these isles so interesting. I remember seeing my first beach in the Highlands and I could not believe how sandy they were. I live in the South East and such beaches down here are few and far between. Look forward to your next video.
That's lovely to hear. Sp pleased you are still keen to follow along on some of our escapades by bicycle. There will be more in the pipeline. We have been busier riding bikes than editing videos (and hampered by the limitations of a decade old computer for editing until very recently) but that means we have plenty of material ready to be edited and sent out into the world over the next couple of months!
Many thanks is for the video and sharing with us all looked a very lovely beach spot! Good to have you both back ❤
Cheers Leigh!
Great to have you back and well worth the wait, thanks for sharing.

Great video. I love the new more relaxed point of view.
We did some more challenging trips earlier in the year, so were ready for a change of gear for this one! Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks Philip, definitely room in our schedule for a few beach trips!

lovely video, looking forward to Islay
Cheers, hopefully out next week!
Your welcome Lindsay. How you both managed to get your bikes over that rough ground was amazing Ted
Hi Ted, to be honest I was wondering how we were going to get our bikes through that boggy tussocky bit myself!
Well done bikepacking that notorious bogfest, I found it tortuous just walking it, but other than that, Jura is a beautiful place, as you well show in your video 👍
Thanks Dom, have you ever used the other track down to the estate house by the road?

What a lovely comment, thank you. Lindsay's a Ben Fogle fan, she's off to find that series!
It's on BBc BF sacred Isles enjoy.
