Hey thanks for your video. I want a Meta sx too. I am 171cm (5'7) "tall" and commencal says this would bei framesice M, but at the bottom side of M. Could you tell me what is your Body size and framesice and do you have a suggestion for me?
I am realy struggeling with S or M.
Thanks
I am 6 foot and bought a large. I alway look at frame size with riding style. Smaller bike is easier to push around and is more playful and larger frame is more stable at speed. If your trails are rough and fast the Medium might be a good choice. If they are smoother and your looking for a more friendly jump bike try the small. I will Say that its easier to make a large bike fit small than a small bike fit big.
Commencal sizing have been upgrade , the sizing chart is pretty good for the meta SX, im 5'8/9 and I was wondering between L and M and Im really happy have got a medium.
You can compare all the geometry of the medium meta SX vs your old enduro bike too or any bike you've felt good on.
Thats what I did, found out that the meta SX medium was a Little bit longer than the large enduro/trail bike I was used to ride so thats why Ive got the medium too
I know this was a while ago, but is this all stock components? I just got my Meta SX and am considering upgrading the suspension at some point. How did it feel on the landings?
It was not all stock at the time but the suspension was at the time. The bike is amazing!
I have upgraded to the MegNeg and like that a lot. I rode a bomber CR coil for a couple months but it just did feel nearly as good as the air can so swapped back.
How does your bike behave on the climb because I want to take this one but I'm afraid of the climb with the fork not blocking
It climbs great for what it is. I do a good amount of climbing on it and am always impressed. Most of the climbing I do is very technical so I wouldn’t lock the fork out ever anyway.
@@MTBBeta okay thanks

Ripping 🤌🏼💯
Soooo much fun in the SX!!
That's the mullet version right? Does it take any getting used to for jumping?
Oh, and sweet ripping dude!
It’s soo much fun to jump. I’m coming from a full 27.5 and the bike feels perfect in the air. It’s easy to over jump the first few hits but I quickly adjusted the speed and found it scrubs like a dream.
What colour is that?

First bike I have owned in a bit that isnt black. I like it.
Yeah Mullet. It did take a couple runs to settle into. It’s a long bike but with the mullet it feels super balanced. Jumps really well.
How you find the sx so far?
Loving it. Rode it for a couple laps at Jiminy Peak today. Last years super gnarly DH course was a great test and it smashed it. Was riding my V10 all day and the SX felt great compared.
Super impressed.
i loved my meta sx champagne than my meta am mistakes is i buy the meta am last year and not special edition like i have now which is the champagne meta sx
That champagne color looks awesome!!
@@MTBBeta thanks i got both raw champagne 🔥
