    i Finally found you, my engine guide, my right arm, my friend that i dont have irl.
    I rarely comment anywhere but now i cant help my self, im so happy that i found you and your videos.
    Im going thru hard times in life but in the dark i still bought my dream car since i was a kid, an e46 330ci that im now working on in my garage.
    That was my dream since i was a child and now thanks to you i can advance my building and get to the level that i want to reach to be able to compete in drifting all by my self.
    Again, thank you sir for your videos, im sure you dont know how much this means for me, im grateful that i found you. Thank you again sir, bless you i wish you the best.
    Best regards from Sweden.

    Bottom mount is the way to go IMO, not only for more stealth look but also, like you said, keep that AC. Gonna be using this in the coming days to start piecing mine together

      you need to modify the suction hose and the hose to the condenser ( two hoses that go to compressor ) I cut and wielded the steel end of a suction hose off a early e39 97/98 ( the flange on compressor lays flat, I sent the line down under my motor mount Arm.) then I used a e90 line from the compressor to the condenser. that line was aluminum cut/wielded . a.k.a. one end was rotated 180*... my lines came from the local pick and pull. However Imo your best option is to take a e90 line and a early e39 line , or even e46 lines? to a ac / hydrolic hose shop .. tell them what size and shape you need. they reuse your old fitting ends , new hose. FWIW, my turbo rsi manifold car is a 2000 e39 touring. my m54(now m52) turbo car is a 94 e36 coupe. e36 is custom twin scroll. no a c. yet but it can. bolth ms43 swapped.

    could you do a video on "3 series turbo selection" or "m5x turbo selection". seems like you have driven a 3576. and a 3584..... I have a gen 2 3582. (s52) really REALLY want to pull the trigger on a gen 3 pulsar 3584 , it's a 3584 "67mm" front and a 66mm turbine with a small trim wheel.... if the 3584 has good power below 4k I'm sold... I feel like the 62mm is too small for a m5x. 62mm is equivalent to a 2.4" exhaust (plus wastegate) then you take up a large part of that 2.4" hole with the actual 62mm turbine. Please and thank you! yes all thoes turbos you run have 62mm turbine, but I still value your experience. (watched all your tach videos, still can't tell when the 3584 makes power.)

    • @Darkaccent

      Is going with a size you mention or shown in this video more advantageous THAN a smaller "more efficient" turbo in relation to the efficiency islands on a turbo graph? ...This is if one was looking to make around 10 psi for a reliable, street performance build...
      Seems like you know more than I do about deciding turbo size, and I came across your comment so I thought I'd see if you have any input on this.
      I'm very technical and like to know as much as I can when diving into projects!

    Hi love the content. Quick question, I have a e46 m54 b30 been fully rebuilt with upgraded parts. Molnar forged rods, Mahle forged pistons, supertech valve springs, head studs, stock aluminium block, upgraded oil pump, has been ported on exhaust and intake side, m50 manifold installed. Wanted to push 600 bhp was wondering if you thought it was safe or what I could run.

    • @drewdavis239
      @drewdavis239 2 роки тому +1

      arp head studs specially for aluminum? arp's don't always work so well on a m54. I used raceware studs for that reason (different thread ?) It's easy to look up the arp issue... Imo As long as You don't overheat your m54 should be good. I wouldn't shoot for 600. I would shoot for mid 4's to mid 5's with a good wide powerband on pump or pump plus meth. Honestly I Highly recommend e85 if you want it to live. once you clear 500... the longevity starts to drop. yes you can make 800 for 10,000 miles or 600 for 20,000 maybe? 500 it may live 30,000 miles or more? (yes I'm just talking about hypotheticals ) what compression ratio ? (what compression pistons, what siye pump ? what size injectors ? lotta factors play into what's possible on your exact set up.
