Free shipping and early shopping the gas is worth it. When I took the card the worker said 5 percent on r everything 🤷♀️ oh well I got it now ok with it. I love Sam’s 👍 thanks for great info

Sam's Club Mastercard no longer offers 3% on travel; that perk was eliminated a few months ago. But why?
Thank you for pointing that out. It was a while ago when I did the review and this is helpful to everyone. I will see what I can find but I doubt they will tell us why.

Can the Sam's Mastercard be used in a retail store or payment for a vehicle repair and earn cash back?
Here is a detail page: www.samsclub.com/content/credit. , to answer your question you can use the card any where mastercard is accepted and you will earn 1% (at stores other than Sams Club). So yes you will earn cash back outside of Sam's club but not as much as if you used it at Sam's. Hope that helps.
Is the cash back in the form of Sam's Cash and can only be used for Sam's club purchases?
Great question. From what I read it is not only for Sam's club purchases. My understanding is YES you can turn it into cash. Their small print is here: www.samsclub.com/content/credit?refsite=SCLP
It reads … “The 2% Sam’s Cash is awarded monthly and loaded onto the membership card for use in club, in our mobile app, on most direct purchases from Sam’s Club online, applied to Sam’s Club membership renewal fees or redeemable for cash.“
“Sam’s Cash earned under the Sam’s Club Mastercard Rewards Program will be issued and combined with all other Sam’s Cash earned under the Sam’s Cash Loyalty Rewards Program”
I read that to mean that the 2% Sam’s Cash you earn from being a member is ‘redeemable for cash’ and the 3% that you earn from the Mastercard Rewards is “combined with all other Sam’s Cash….” Therefore the 5% (2% + 3%) is redeemable for cash. I should of mentioned that in the video.

If you spend up to $2,000 a month, or less than $25,000 in a year, then you will receive a full 5% back. Let me know if the explanation of how they provide the 5% is calculated makes sense.

This card can only be used at Sam's club and Walmart right? I don't understand why they say dining part.
Great question. You have to combine the Sams Club membership (plus member) with the Sams Club Mastercard. The Sams club mastercard can be used anywhere a Mastercard can be used. That is why you can get cashback on dining and other categories with the Mastercard.

I don't know about you but these people especially in todays economy are out of their minds, families are struggling to put food on the table and you want them to buy a credit card, talk about bad timing
Do you mean buy a membership? The card is free. I always suggest never keeping a balance on a card, always pay it off. The point is to get your groceries cheaper, buy what you would normally buy and get a discount.
