I remember getting the one that was remade during the 90s as a little kid, my friend Joey and I would race our collection of cars down the track for hours and even through the van itself
Great Review Dan, I just picked this one up myself and had to check out your review. I'm hoping in this Micro machine re-boot we see Travel Cities once again!
Could the tiny undersized raceway in the set (that's even too small for Micro Machines) be a hint that Micro Machines Insiders are returning? The ones where the Micro Machine opened up to reveal a really tiny car inside... which I lost back in the 1990s, of course!
I love the old and new Super Van City for sure. Great work Dano as usual!! Hey Dano and guys I noticed something. On the bottom of only some of the cars is an R printed. Do you know what thats about? I have not been able to find out any info about this, take a look at some of yours and let me know.
I grew up playing with the original. I can tell you based on what I'm seeing in this video there's some trade offs. On one hand it seems to have more play features, which is neat, and you can fit more in a small space. The red plastic is glaring and bright, really takes away from other details as opposed to the white plastic of the old which just looked better. The airport is sorely missed. It looks like 2020 Micro Machines axed boats and airplanes, which is a loss in my opinion. That wrecking ball is a huge win for the new playset though.
Fantastic review! I do like these new play sets, except from the Tuner Garage. But as far as Micro Machines is concerned, Star Wars Micro Machines will always be Number 1 for me. However, this is certainly a nice take on the classic 1991 Super Van City playset.
I bought a set for my grandson this christmas and very dissapointed with it. Functions dont work well especially the raceway, sping action not as good as the one I bought for my son in the 90's which he still have now. I would give this a low 1 out of 10 because lots of functions that don work well.
Too much samey looking plastic in all of the new Micro Machines stuff. They cheaped out on paints and stickers. I would rather have Funrise or Charm Max cars than this newer stuff tbh.
Complete junk. I can't believe they released this stuff. I would think they would of went back to the originals and re-released them. I love micro machines back in the day, The new ones are TERRIBLE!!!!!
I had the original!! My brother and I played for HOURS.

So if the wheels work, and the little vehicles are micro, would this be a macro machine?
Great in depth review. Did you work out if it can be folded up without dismantling?
It can be folded up as long as you take down all the little lamps and construction area. They fit in the center easily and it closes up just fine
You know when you watch a UA-camr for a few years and then stop and then you find them again you are one of them
I loved them as a kid. I had the one very similar. The tool box. Very cool
I'm getting one for christmas to !!!!! I love it
I'd like to see you show some videos about Mike machines that have Mountain playsets it just have to do with mountains
YOU ARE ON THE STAR WARS NEWS SHOW DAN-O!!!
I saw!
I had a white vertion of this... Ah memories and micromachine biker mise from mars
I wish micro machines would bring back the trains I used to collect them
Same with Freedom Force vs. Terror Troops aka Military.
Nice, a lot of fun watching your videos.

It might be a little bit. I’m in the middle of a move.
The Dan-O Channel I understand that I just went through the same thing aways back.

I hope they bring back the toolbox. I dont know if it will be as cool as the 90s micromachines tho.
Well this set was pretty close to the original. So hopefully. I want the toolbox to come back too
@@Dan-O Cool stuff. I’m glad that I can get micromachines for my little guy this christmas.

Can anyone look at the bottom of the micro van city to see if it has a model number similar to the small cars? Is it 0010 or 0020?
Does it fit hot wheels

Time to go get one! :)
Is this really worth the money?
Cool Shirt Dude! 😎✅
It is Sand Crawler big!
Anyone ever figure out what the R printed on the bottom of only some of the cars means? I still cant find anything on this
Micro Machines exist in late 1980’s and 1990’s but I can use Micro Machines Super Van City 🌃 Playset for the Godzilla Toys 🧸
Target is marking them down like crazy right now I saw one for $12
Cap

@@mrpelayo32
Dude I have a Mini Cooper one
I only bought this for the three vehicles✅🤣
like it
It’s good but the original was great. But it’s a step in the right direction (Star Wars MM)👍🏻
I really wish they included more sticker add ons to add to the super van city it looks bland compared to the og one
Can’t figure out how to close it to stay as can. Frustrating.

I got this Super Van City At Gamestop lol
Why is that funny?
@@Dan-O Because I thought it was avalible in Walmart and Target Only
The original is so much better just got this for my kid and I'm kinda pissed
