7:30: This is the most convoluted spec in the game. Optimize your starlord buff, bank astral power towards the end of starlord, don't overcap, get three stacks, get full moons immediately after entering an eclipse, and carefully manage your eclipses. I played Moonkin in WOLK, and all I can say is: "Look at what they did to my boy." Cries.
Vesp, bro. Your guides are amazing I watch all of them even if I don't play the class/spec. Because of your guides I started leading my M+ group. Your guides helped me to learn the deeper ins and outs of all the different classes/specs so thank you
man I miss the sun& moon eclipse bar moving on its own so freaking much, it truly felt special. and this bullcrap is now like the rest of the classes - you fill the gauge, you empty the gauge, rinse&repeat.
Balance? More like BALLance cause anyone that watches this guide will be an absolute BALLER at the top of the DPS meters! Was stuck in the 2-6 range for keys but after watching this guide I've managed to knock out a 27 Uldaman! Thankyou so much VesperalTV I'm doing so much more damage now!!
in AoE if the pack whittles down to 1 or 2 targets and you're in lunar still, should you continue to use Starfire since you're in lunar, or switch to Wraths because of target count? cheers
I think nobody should still be using the dreamwalkers healing potion in s4, it heals for like 10% of your max health instantly which will almost never be enough to save you. With how high our hp pool is now, the withering potion is just way better.
Im a little confused. So first you say, For anything up to 2 targets you should be in Solar Eclipse. Ok but we start the pull on single target with 2 Wraths, and no where in that opener is Starfire. (I realize now, that Incarnation grants you both Eclipses) But then after the opener, Wrath is used as a filler, but we are to "Stay in Solar Eclpise" I guess that means, that every 15 seconds, you just have to cast 2 starfires, to refresh the eclipse, but otherwise use wrath?
Btw, the concept of eclipses can be a little confusing to non moonkin players or especially players that might have played it in one of it's many interations a long time ago. The last time I played Moonkin, it was a sliding Eclipse bar that went back and forth from Lunar to Solar, so you switched between Wrath and Starfire depending on what end of the Eclipse you were moving towards. So, in a lot of these guides, it feels like it is just inferred on how it works.
When you talent into astral smolder your crit has a chance to make the target burn and put a dot on which is your 3rd dot, which is also the importance of the choice node increasing your crit from your builders
So if we want to stay in solar, we have to keep track of the duration of solar, stop casting wraith at the right time, and then cast two starfires quickly to get back into solar? Feels like a janky mechanic to have to cast two AOE skills in order to maximize single target damage. Even worse that you can actually lock yourself out of solar if you didn't pay attention to the duration. Two wraths will put you into Lunar which locks out solar and can't be cancelled. best to make a weakaura for this

Solid stuff, you should be a coach.
Thanks!
do you apply dots in eclipse?
nice guide bro
Hi. What simulator do you use? Thanks.
Why 2 points in Waning Twilight? What is the third DoT you’re putting on if you don’t have stellar fire?

This shit is cake compared to feral
Do we not have to cast two Starfires to get into solar eclipse?
Yes
not quite sure what does "stay in eclipse" mean...it's a countdown😵💫
if ure single target u stay in solar eclipse, he literally says it, are u not paying attention?
@@RVKZ_ you kids always jump to something without actually reading the question? did I ask when do you need to stay in solar or luna eclipse?
You wanna maximise your uptime of eclipse bro, just try and get back into the suitable one asap
@@VesperalTV so there is no way to prolong it, just need to get back into it soon, thanks
