Good stuff, just bought a set of headlights, grille and brand new bumper. Gonna do the headlights this weekend. This was a great lesson.
Glad it helped. Good luck on your install.
Good job on the video. I didn't hear my shout out that I was promised. 😂
But I'm happy you can drive at night now and I gave it a like, hope it helps
Haha. I remembered that right as I was uploading. Thanks for the like.
I have a '97 king cab 4x4, and I think the procedure should be exactly the same on mine (I had a '95 4x4 in '95) so THANK YOU for doing this video, it was very, very well done!
Thank you kind sir! It was a fun video to make because the housing and lights made such a huge difference.
@@weekendhomeprojects they absolutely did! I am absolutely gonna give this a go, because it was a *huge* difference! I'm thinking about doing this to my dad's '16 Dodge Ram 1500 too - LED lights are ridiculously cool, and I forget they're out there for just about everything now, lol
Cool video I'll do the same to my truck.
Thanks. What kind of truck do you have?
Nice
I have that same problem with my hardbody, thanks for vid!
Thanks for watching. Did you get a new headlights yet? Go with LED?
@@weekendhomeprojects bought those leds but had issues with the metal piece that holds them in
Do the housings have DOT numbers/markings to pass inspection?
Looks good , how are those lights holding up, do you think if I buy another brand of led 9003 h4 they would fit. I wanna try some lasfit led.
Still doing great. I’ve had no issues. Not sure if those lights will fit, but if they do let us know :)
Hi, I have a 94 hardbody 4x4 kingcab, v6, that needs new lights, and your video was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for making it!
Can I ask you a couple of questions?
-- I live in southern Arizona, so heat is always an issue: in your experience, how well do the heat sinks on the bulbs work, esp since there are no fans?
-- Does your high-beam indicator still work after installing the lights? I've read a couple of accounts of people no longer having a high-beam indicator after installation.
Thanks for any feedback and info. I appreciate it.
I've not had the bulbs long enough to really experience a heat sink issue, but so far so good. I drive it to work often, which is always during the day. I haven't had to use the headlights much, and never the high beams. So I'm not sure if I still have the indicator. I'll check next time I drive it and let you know.
Where can I get more grill clips?

How have the led bulbs held up?
Over a year later and still doing great.
@@weekendhomeprojects thanks for the fast reply! I was searching for some led for a similar housing I got
Im gonna get a set blind all those new vehicles for a change 😂. I purchased my 95 xe 5speed brand! spanking! new! Originally Purple 😂 now white not my daily but id never sell the last brand new vehicle i purchased. $46,000!!!!! For a new one! I refuse!. The 95 was $14,000 and i thought that was high, like $18.000 after financing. I see younger families with 2 vehicle payments house payments. I say many are a months paycheck from being homeless. My payment was $300 a month they gotta be $800 -$1000 or more now days. Im glad im 56 not 26 i couldn't sleep at night knowing i owe that much a month. I really feel for theses young families... God bless them all.
My uncle bought this one new too. He passed and gave it to my grandfather. He passed and gave it to me. I'll have this thing for life! Great little vehicle. Have you done a timing chain replacement yet? That's next on my list for her. Will make a video when it's done.
