Thanks so much for putting this compilation together. This should have been a bigger hit.

I saw it and actually enjoyed it. But it was clear it was very surface, kept waiting for it to come together. It was sort of like a revue or songs pieced together

I sooo loved this show and felt it was extremely under-rated. Thank you for posting this! Now, if only there was a full version of Bernadette Peter's singing "No More."

My 12 yr. old son and I attended a matinee and he loved it. We met Bernadette and Martin after the show.

Thanks for this ASpiderwoman. Painful to watch the two of them try to push the show up a hill, but wonderful to be able to see.

The first Broadway show I ever saw. So flawed and it's even more apparent looking back, but goodness I love seeing this again!

One of those shows where the cast album makes it sound like a hit. Great score, and fascinating to see these clips!

I think a good deal of that score is underrated, especially "No More."

Although I was aware of this show, I’ve never seen or heard anything about it except that it failed.
With all due respect, I can see why.
But, as always, thanks so much for uploading these videos - great or not so great.

Saw this with my boss, his brother, and his cousin. We thought it was good, but the set started to fall apart at some point and we thought it was part of the show. They took about a 20 minute break to fix it.

lol! That's funny. Ah, well - Da Show Must Go On! That happened to me -- London, Nat'l Theatre - "Don Quixote" starring Paul Scofield! - I was 22 - 1982 - (had JUST gotten my Equity card, believe it or not: doing a tour with Alaska Rep!! (alas, now defunct) - in Neil Simon's "Fools" - and decided to take my newfound riches ($485/wk. cool! a fortune in dem days) -? -- and go to London for a week - and see a buncha shows. HEAVENLY! - -- It was so cool - they used tricycles instead of horses: On came Paul Scofield / Don Quixote with Sancho Panza, on their trikes -- and the set starting falling down on 'em !!! These BIG, TALL flats -- suddenly: lights out: Announcement: "Ladies & Gentlemen: We must hold for a whole, due to technical difficulties" -- lol! It was something to remember.... - Thank heck Paul and Co. didn't get hurt ...

'Twas a quick hop, truly, Alaska to England - if you fly o'er the North Pole - - England's more northern than we always tend to think? -- and go to London for a week - and see a buncha shows. HEAVENELY!

Thanks for the flashback! I saw a matinee of this show in out-of-town previews in Chicago. A few good songs, but the sets were rickety, the jokes flat, and the costumes awful (how do you make Bernadette look this bad?). There had been significant revisions to the script and song lineup. Bernadette was battling a sore throat. All this said, Ms. Peters was the consummate professional, totally in the moment, working through moments, discovering what her voice could and couldn't do that day. And she and Martin Short had fantastic chemistry when he stopped (literally) climbing the sets.

I'm doing that thing where i 'bite my tongue' because i have a bunch of negative thoughts coming to mind.
I'm glad to see this, i never knew the musical. But (here i go) I'm not loving these songs. I'm so in-love with the Marsha Mason + Richard Dreyfuss non-musical that I'm super closed-minded to what I'm seeing here. And Martin Short is so creepy to me. But Bernadette is fantastic. Her hair #rules .
(And the lady at the end gushing over them.....just reminds me of how salty critics were to Carrie the Musical --- but they're gushing over this??????) .....breathing.....letting it go .......still grateful to see these gems, thank you!

There is something creepy at Martin Short. I can't put my finger on it either. It's like Jerry Lewis and Robin Williams, they're always gagging and you're searching for the real person and kinda scared at what you'll get, like a clown with makeup.

It's like they just wanted something to feature these stars and everything was so CLICHÉ it was awful. I was only 17 at the time and just happy to see a brand new show, it was entertaining but as a show itself it sucked
