- Sitting in the northeastern area of the Department of Santander is beautiful Bucaramanga. We visited Bucaramanga for ten days and had a chance to see some of the beautifully landscaped parks, as well as some buildings that were designed by some very talented architects. We also had a chance to do some memorable dining at some fine establishments. This city has many affluent areas, and a good percentage of the cars are well over 100K (USD) if that gives you any idea as to the level of wealth that is here. Even though Bucaramanga has a lot of very wealthy people, it's still surprisingly affordable. If you have the opportunity, give Bucaramanga a visit. Hopefully you will enjoy all that it has to offer.

I live in this city 30 years ago and it´s the city with least unemployment and crime, it also has the best medical center for heart surgery.
A city with lots of job producing entrepreneurs and low crime is great! We noticed that firsthand. Thanks for the info about the heart hospital. That's great info.

I am not the most religious person. But... my wife is, and we have made some moves recently that we have put our faith in, and it is working for us. This also makes me remember Dr. Martin Luther King who said that the Lord helps those that help themselves.
Note: I do not feel the presence of God in the USA. When I visit Colombia, I want to attend church services. I feel it there. There are parts of the USA that I feel are doing ok, but as I drive on its roads, I see a lack of charity.
Thanks for share this marvelous video about the beautiful city of Bucaramanga. In your next travel to Bucaramanga you should visit el páramo de Santurban, Embalse Topocoro and some beautiful towns nearby for example: Zapatoca, San Vicente de Chucurí or Tona.
