  • Little Gerhard, artist name of Karl-Gerhard Lundkvist, born 17 May 1934 in Tillberga outside Västerås, is a Swedish rock singer, who had big hits from 1958 to the mid-1960s with, among others, "Buona Sera," "What You've Done to Me "and" The last of the Mohicans."
    At a young age he went to sea as a seaman, and made in connection with this debut in 1952 in Amsterdam at the nightclub Trocadero. He played at this time, accordion and guitar. After having signed as a sailor, he moved to Stockholm, where he was through amateur competitions in the mid-1950s had success as a rock singer. The first time he came out with his own band was at Nalen, New Year's Eve 1957. Through the show, he got a record deal at the Company Carousel, and he debuted in early 1958 with the EP Little Gerhard. The song What You've Done To Me on the album became his breakthrough.
