Beautiful and underrated ❤❤❤❤❤
I cant tell you what I feel when I see Hakone. It reminds me of all the fun times we had when we were up there. Along with a couple of other families including my parents and grandparents, Hakone was rejuvenated in the late fifties, early sixties. When my grandfather died in 1966, We offered to sell Hakone to the city of Saratoga so that other people could enjoy it to. I didn't understand then, but I do now. All of the original owners have since passed except my mother, who, to this day, still gives talks about Hakone.
I went there earlier today (4/7/2024), and that place is beautiful, especially with the blooming Sakuras.
Too bad climate change and drought will kiss hose serene gardens
I went here a couple of years ago. After they took our money…we realized that many of the ponds were empty and a lot of things weren’t working.
They should have given us a heads up…or at least a discount. Disappointing.
That reporter had the wrong shoes for this report!
Place use to have yoga, not anymore.
This is true cultural appropriation
