- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the most recent DC Comics character to carry the title of "Blue Beetle" From Jaime Reyes stumbling upon the sentient Blue Beetle Scarab while with his best friends Paco and Brenda, the magically-infused ancient alien bio-tech bonding with the young man's spine and giving him amazing superhuman abilities from an advanced shape-shifting armored battle suit, seeking the guidance and assistance of the second Blue Beetle named Ted Kord to learn more about the strange artifact that now seems to be a permanent part of his life, to using his imagination to conjure various devices to help in his adventures and conflicts with the Justice League and Teen Titans; Let's take a look at this unwitting DC superhero, and the wielder of a vastly powerful magic alien A.I. and battle armor. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

I’ve heard of Blue Beetle in passing. Just never in details like I did just now. He’s definitely an interesting character to get to know. Based on the trailer, I can’t wait to see how the actor, Xolo Mariduena take on Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes will represent on screen.

Jaime's blue beetle suit really reminds me a lot of Iron Man's symbiote armor in a few different ways. Pretty neat! Did they ever mention how they got the scarab OFF the second user? (The guy who helps Jaime)

I dig him in Injustice 2 he had a decent combo system an I'm totally feeling the latest being a so called Hispanic being the Blue Beetle nevertheless I remember the first Blue Beetle and they was another super hero introduced around the same time in the D.C.Universe I think his name was the Red Devil and this was way b4 Hellboy was introduced maybe u can showcase him I remember he had Red Skin with Golden Horns and wielded a trident the reason it stuck in my mind I remember going to my Local Comics shop Treasure Island and seeing both 1 issues on the stand Red vs Blue I'm almost 50 an that memory and vivid image of both super on display burned into my subconscious, anyways dope video
