getting really tired of the extra character every codex.... deathguard already have so many independent character models as it is. i wish 1k sons, deathguard etc would start getting a new unit each codex instead till their range has been fleshed out a bit more. why not a deathguard havoc squad that has the larger plague weapons or a special deathguard exclusive helbrute/dreadnought
That's dictated more by GW production cycle, hence we have similar pattern of releases of faction that are on "break" getting mainly one/few characters for a few editions before next substantial waves. DG was a starter faction in 8th and hit essentially double release wave, so naturally faction is on break during 9th and 10th. 11th or even 12th is when we start to get more meat again
I believe we'll get something for World Eaters around April, as in the World Eaters Grotmas Detachment is says: "Join us in a few months for World Easter, our next seasonal Warhammer crossover… "
So will probably see Chaos Knights (with Imperial) and then a big drop of everything. Since a few boxes were put out 2 at a time be cool to get the Chaos Gods who hate each other the most be side by side. I'm thinking Lord of Poxes, my idea for them did have him in not Terminator armour and using Bubotic blade, though wasn't a Plasma Pistol but a new anti-vehicle one, and how to use him is about throwing around his area of contagion.

Do you think the Rumor Engine teaser featuring a weapon resembling Alpharius’ Pale Spear (pun intended 😂) could be hinting at his inclusion in the upcoming Chaos releases? Maybe they’ll sneak him in between other announcements?

I hope we get more info on EC soon Also I noticed that Nurgle doesn't have a named daemon does it? (Skulltaker for Khorne, Changeling for Tzeetch and Masque for Slaanesh) So it could be a good time to give a named Herald for Nurgle alongside some new DG stuff
Nurgle has 2 named lesser daemons, epidimus (who’s model is a really bad resin one that’s no longer available so he might be getting a refresh in the AoS nurgle release, or just straight up on the chopping block) and Horticulous Slimux (the gardener on the giant slug). he’s got the same amount of named characters as the other 3 gods, though epidimus is probably the model in the daemon range in the most dire need for a refresh so releasing one here wouldn’t go amiss.
The view of you isn’t terribly different than when you were seated. As someone who’s used an electric sit/stand desk for over a decade, sitting work is still important. Self-enforced standing all day is also unhealthy.
I haven't brought Chaos models in 20+ years, except for Kill Team starter set with the Death Guard and Nemesis Claw. I will not be drawn to the dark side again! Same Dorn and the Imperial Fists are all dead :(
I don't think so most of the death guard I see for 40k have that kinda plasma pistol and they do have models that have little mutations such as the Lord of virulence
with the combineing of demons is a repeat of the 8e chaos demons added into the cms army as to debloat access to them. back in 8e the community rallied against this move.this is also the reason for the app to exist as community read the wording absolutely wrong. looking at you intercessors and imperial knight see bondsman ability paladin in 8e..
DG is a perfect army made for 40k but still having the HH vibe and I hope EC wont be made like the new ones with big plums and weird gen 8 armor or something, but nice HH vibe older armor etc.. but seeing Fulgrim with new armor I can imagine EC wont be so nice i hoped. Reeimagined armies like DG are best when they have some past vibes on them.

Sure would be nice if ANY other traitor legion got the attention Death Guard got. Obviously I'd prefer it be the one I play (Thousand Sons) but who knows what the future holds with these automaton rumors that really don't make sense to be specific to Thousand Sons.
Given we already have leaks for Space Wolves refresh in December, if TS or WE were getting a proper second wave we'd already have heard of it. Another Year of Chaos, another disappointment.

I wish Death Guard would get Grave Wardens. I know it's another Terminator unit, but dang it would be so cool. They were the chemical and biological specialists in the heresy. Wouldn't they be the BEST at Death Guard disgustingness? ....Death Guard are also my favorite army so I'm totally not biased...
It's hard to get hyped when warhammer costs so much, which is why I'm hoping Bandai takes the reins from GW with there new Tabletop game which is way more affordable.
But where are the thousand sons models? Deathguard are well taken care of the other chaos gods could use some diversity. Great model tho but I want more

As an Emperor children/ Space Wolf player i do think the nurgle marines look so good since a few years back. Not just in 40k but AoS too.

Looks more like a potential Heresy model, the plasma pistols shape isn‘t typical for 40K and he looks a bit light on mutations.
