I really enjoyed the change from a vacuum puller to a pressure machine. No more bubbles no more loose guards. Btw I found I was never able to take a correct bite for a guard clinically. I ended up pulling the foil on the model and only then mounting it in the articulator. This ended up with the least adjustement work clinically. In your case demonstrated it looks like the overjet is quite large. In those cases I recommend the night guard in the lower jaw. Those patients often don't tolerate the thickness of the front labial part rubbing against their lip. The soft hard lamination is the way to go btw. I also had the learn the "hard" way several years till I found about them.

What thickness would you recommend for the thermoforming material?

a sports mouthguard should be made with the help of a construction bite and a special articulator in the vacuum machine such as an erkoform3d motion
