Thanks Paul! The sad part is, is this is only one little spot on this creek. I have access to 7 miles worth of trash along this creek. Not all spots are this bad but in a whole it is pretty bad out there..
@@TakingtheTRASHOUTwithAaron Yeah, I can imagine what it looks like. Especially with all those small styrofoam parts, that aren´t even visible from further away. It´s getting worse :(

Hey Christopher, thank you for watching this video and thank you for subscribing!! I really appreciate it! I am just a little part of a bigger picture.
When you pulled out that malt bag as a trash bag, I squealed with joy! 🎉 Love it seeing non-virgin plastic or trash materials being used as a trash bag! Great use of the 3 R’s! Nice work Aaron!
Plus the grain bags hold two 5 gallon buckets of trash and you can drag then though rough terrain without tearing them, "usually". HA! Good luck with your channel and trashing adventures I subscribed to your channel too!!
Holy Smokes!!! You are subscriber 500!!! Thank you! It took a long time to get to 500. Hahaha I know it is kinda silly but I am excited 😊. I have no idea what shirt I was wearing, I’ve had quite a few cleanups since I made this video. Again, thank you.
@@TakingtheTRASHOUTwithAaron Oh yay, that's very cool, glad to help! The shirt you were wearing was from 4Ocean, the organization that takes plastic out of the ocean. Love people like you, thanks for doing this - you inspire so many!!
@@aviewer9516 Oh Ya! 4Ocean is awesome!! I recently buffed out my wardrobe with more of their gear. Thank you for your enthusiasm, the earth cleanup will require all hands on deck for sure. Haha! I find quite a few rubber ducks washed in to the creek system. I am not sure if they are from the street level or if kids play with them in the creek directly.
For the last two rain seasons I’ve been saving them for some kind of project. The good Soccer balls ⚽️ my neighbor takes. I imagine when the time comes I will have them recycled properly. Before I started saving them they would end up being thrown away with the other trash….
Oh no - I already get anxious changing my batteries outside and dropping them, but with those tiny SD-cards that's a whole other story 😅Dang it. So glad I came across you - saw the recommendation at the guys from Pick up trash! It's so interesting so see that the thrash we find at rivers seems to be similar all over the world. Those nerf-gun things, liters, balls and especialy this annoying styrofoam... I can't stand finding it as it often breaks down to even more tiny pieces. BUT - I'm so glad to see that others are out there too, cleaning up places piece by piece. Thank you for your dedication. Greetings from nearby the river Rhine.

Hey SouthTexas! Great question. We are all in this together. Haha! My main message is if we can manage the neighborhood litter before it washes into the environment through our Storm Drain systems, it would have a big impact down the road. Oh dear. Wound you please mind stop polluting the environment with SD cards? They are not meant to be thrown in the rivers. 😂 Besides my joking, great cleanup. Paul and me have done similar many times, always a surprise what the day will bring for you..
Haha @ polluting with SD cards. The craziest thing that happened this rainy season is we had a late rain that blew that debris field apart and washed most of it about a half mile down stream. If you see my video called: I found a message in a bottle, that is the location everything washed down to and collected. Anyway I never found my SD card. Are you talking about PAUL! Pick up trash!! Yep, lots of trash to collect.
This creek is an absolute mess, mostly due to the storm drain systems.
