@@raghavarakshith8849 There is nothing like Kannada flavoured or tamil/hindi flavoured.If your movie is unique in story,Screenplay and technically sound then any movie can be a pan India success.Im really proud that some of the recent kannada movies are of International level like Kavaludaari,KGF,Lucia,Ulidavaru Kandante etc.I was shocked when i saw KGF trailer i never expected that from KFI.So called mass heroes should stop doing remakes and try to involve technically better movies.Better VFX than Kurukshethra can be seen in hindi serials same goes with Pailwaan.KFI can pull really good movies some people are coming out of their safe zone.
What is commercial movie-- Fights,Songs.mass dialogue & etc.... here is the hero who changes the definition..of commercial movie...with screen play,Twist.....& Turns,& The way of telling the story...

Isn’t the other film he is acting in called Nathuram? I wonder why he didn’t name it. Wonderful debut interview! Rishab’s lightheartedness and Kairam’s calm conversational style made it interesting. The only criticism - and surprising to me - is that there wasn’t enough promotion of Katha Sangama!
Let down! Felt like Q&A session. Could have been lot better if kairam asked more about technique nd other nuances of direction. Expecting a better and well versed interview next time, probably with Rakshith.
finally, someone who can understand PAN India crap. releasing movie in different languages is just money making but making whole world watch the original language is the real achievement
Very Good interview. Good start for Kannada content. But things about "Darshan sir films" mentioned in "Promo" and the Thumbnail text "I was supposed to direct ASN" are edited out of the final edit. Hope that will be sorted in next interviews

Its good to see new age directors/actors opting good cinema/content oriented ….instead of same old masala films with hero worshipping. I had stopped watching Kannada films long time ago...and after 15 yrs I watched Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Bayaludaari, Kirik party and KGF. Since Pailwaan was pan India release, I watched it on amazon prime and very disappointed. That movie was clearly made just for Sudeep fans and not for pan India audiences. Im glad to hear Mr. Shetty , that he knows what's pan India and what's not. Also Mr. Rishab… if you are reading this ...there is nothing wrong is hiring Shetty people or local Mlorean/Udupi people in your projects. Most of the Kannada Movie Industry is filled with Mandya, Hasan and Mysore people. There is lot of talent in Mlore and Udupi area , and donot get any opportunities.
