I'm from Sweden, where most people are opposed to country for some reason. I've always loved it, though. And this is the one band that was able to convert all my loved ones to country-fans. Della Jane's Heart and Straw in the Wind are the songs we play on an everyday afternoon. And on weekends, we blast Compared to a Soul and Blind Lover.

Maybe the guy in this song is the guy who drove Della Jane over the edge, and he's telling Anna Lee this right before he goes back to tell Della Jane he was wrong... and we know what she does when she gets that news. This guy's minutes are numbered and he doesn't know it.

Ok so here's my pitch. Anna lee has known this dude since they were babies. Mama's best friend's girl kinda thing. Della was the beauty but grounded,not leaving her world. Anna already knew his wild side and was down for whatever he wanted. I wanna hear her story on the next album.
