Stanley does have a little boy's mind housed in the body of a man. Blanche's passion about those letters is so brilliantly acted and heart rending.

WHOA! 😱😳 you can REALLY see the chemistry of Blanche and Stanley subtly getting MORE tense here he CLEARLY likes her and LUSTS after her and she thinks the same I believe of her brother in law THAT'S the reason I think why Stan gets soo angry with his sister in law in the film I mean he even tells her you know if I didn't know that YOU was my wife's sister I would get ideas about you! and she goes such as what? and he says to her POINT BLANK don't play so dumb you KNOW what! 😂😱😳
Stanley is having none of Blanche's flirting. Blanche's vulnerability is clearly seen here for the first time. Where is the rest of Tennessee Williams brilliant wording by Blanche in this scene with Stanley?..."to which all except Stella and I have retreated".
