The fact that you were so distraught over leaving Groceries shows that you have made a lifelong friend/sister/tramily. You both can stay in touch and cherish your friendship for the rest of your lives. A friendship like that is hard to come by. You both are amazing women!
I think the pic of you leaning against the Katahdin sign is the best I have seen. It shows your emotional reaction to finishing this major feat better than standing on the sign and waving.
The picture at 07 seconds where you have your head forward on the sign is the most dramatic picture I have ever seen at the summit. Way better than the standard "standing behind the sign" which you were not allowed to do.
I've watched scores of thru-hiker vlogs over the past few years but your post-trail video was by far the most eloquent, honest, and bittersweet of all. Thanks for taking us along. Hope to see you someday on trail. --Pale Rider
I'm so very proud of you 🤠💕🤗, Thanks for sharing this with me, I have truly enjoyed the ride, God 🙏 bless you and yours ❤️❤️❤️❤️, I mean this from the bottom of my heart 💜
Really enjoyed following your hike. Sorry that Fox and Cheeseball decided to leave your trail family, enjoyed your interactions. Looking forward to following your PCT journey.
Nice that you addressed the descent of Katahdin, so many do not, and the descent is as important as the ascent. I climbed Katahdin three times on steep trails but descended on easer trails for safety. I liked your pictures at the summit. Remember that you have the Florida Trail in your backyard. Wishing all the best and blessings for the future. Rick🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
So proud of you... I have followed you from day 1 and just knew you would crush it. Every yr I section a few hundred miles and you were such a pleasure to follow and inspired me to also push on. It's always weird being back home, just be gentle to yourself and remember all you accomplished . Can't wait to see you on the pct.
You had a great time, made a fab history of it, and you will have these memories, with Groceries, forever. I still hike the AT, with my old Budds, in my sleep . . . Thank You For Sharing, Dancer.
CONGRATS on finishing your hike! I REALLY enjoyed following along! I will look forward to watching your future videos. Thank you for documenting so many things that brought back good memories. Tomorrow is my 10 year anniversary of completing the trail.
Thank you so much for doing this update! I have been thinking so much about you, whether you were home to face Ian ( nice welcome!!!) and how you were mentally faring after finishing such an amazing feat. You have a lot to think about now that you've taken a bite out of long distance hiking. I fully intend to follow your adventures and please do let us know how "regular life" is going, how it feels being home sleeping in a real bed and not worrying about weather! Wishing you all good things as you plan your future!
Thank you for taking us along on some of the funniest times, had I been on the AT I would have hike every mile with you guys what a blast your group was to follow, be well
Congratulations again! I would consider you among the elite among thru-hikers because not only did you do the entire hike in one season but also without taking any time off the trail. Well done! ❤️
Thanks for this post hike video. Sorry for the pain of leaving a good friend but isn't it great to have meet Groceries and enjoyed such a close friendship, those friends are a rare treasure.
A BIG THANK YOU FOR SHARING, especially the end, what has to happen to get off Mt. Katadin and back home. AT v loggers rarely do this. Much appreciated. Kentucky
Yes! Bring on the videos! We have watched from the beginning…didn’t ever really comment…but would be distressed if this was the end of the road with you. It doesn’t have to be hiking…shucks, we’d watch dancing vids…anything! And I am following Grociers, too, so will see her next adventures. If you don’t forget us, we won’t forget you!!
You missed the serenity in the moment……completely understandable. I would have felt the same way, especially feeling rushed. Thank you for sharing the journey. Seventy-Seven years young widow here - folks like you helps put in my days👏👏
Congratulations, Hiking Dancer and Groceries❣️❣️😎🤩 You achieved a great hike and finish❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Sorry you didn’t get to stand on the sign on Katahdin😢 You gals ought to join the Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association, ALDHA, you will have many opportunities to be reconnected with the hiker community: doing Trail magic, hiker feeds, Trail maintenance trips, Rucks, and the annual Gathering. I loved your picture at the sign. So sorry you were disappointed 😢Nothing to be disappointed about , you were awesome and congratulations. My plan is to go in the spring, God willing
Congratulations!!! I have a lot of catching up to do. I just returned from hiking. So I missed so much. But your attitude, videos are among the top. I don't really have any desire to do the AT, I'm no really a people person. But you made it FUN!!! THANKS
The best after hike video!! Very few hikers video the way down, it was beautiful! I’m so sorry your photo opportunity was kind of stolen from you 😢I think the photo of you leaning on the sign was way better and more dramatic than all the ones I’ve seen with people standing on the sign, I just love it. Thank you so much for letting me live through you on this journey! As I an older now, I will never be able to accomplish such a hike. Awww you and groceries, what a team…I think you will hike together again and we will follow! Retuning to the real world, it’s not easy! Cheers from Arizona 🌵✌️
It has been great following your journey. Thank you for sharing about the air port, I can imagine the vibe was very negative compared to being on trial. It feels like you have learned and found what is important to you from your hike.
Roadrunner, Thanks for taking us on this amazing journey. You are missing so much about your hike, but realize how much your viewers are going to miss. For these past months, I have been glued to the videos watching this adventure. You gave a lot of us the opportunity to see what the trail is like, and many will never have the opportunity to see it first hand. Your videos captured so much of the trail, the life, the challenges, and so much more. I hope you continue this channel, and look forward to following you. Your are a beautiful person, inside and out. You are going to make someone special in your life a VERY happy person. You have so much to offer, and thank you again for sharing the experience, the adventure, and mostly sharing you in our lives. Hope to see you soon on another adventure.
Thanks for taking us home with you. Saying good by is so hard, but its not forever. From the Mountain to the beach, quite a contrast. Not verry nice of IAN to welcome you home. Glad your home is OK. My friends in Orlando were luck. Lots of clean up, but no real damage. Best of luck with the days ahead. Readjusting will have it's ups and downs. Looking forward to your next adventure, be it on the trail or the dance floor.🤓
Thank You so much Roadrunner!!! You are an awesome person!! Glad you were ok during the hurricane! I will be following whatever is next!!! Blessings to you!!🍻🍺🌟💫
Be proud of your accomplishment. You and Groceries provided very enjoyable postings! Having wished I could have hiked the AT as a youth, I enjoyed your views of the trail that I will never be able to make. Your positive attitude and compassion for your trail mates is to be admired! Despite the difficulties at the end be happy with what you accomplished, We enjoyed sharing your journey!
Thank you for this update, was nice to see what came after the summit! You and Groceries have become Family over this long time together, you always be in each others hearts! What a bummer that a park ranger forbid to get up the sign, Maine should make a sturdier one lol with nice steps on the back!!! Glad that Ian did not harm your house and to be higher up than the flooding, so lucky! Whatever you do in the future, I will be lurking in the background and cheer you on... I never met you personally but I am so super proud of your accomplishment, you did it with grace and courage... onward you go into new adventures, hoping you can keep the negativity away from you and just shine through this darkness! It will not be easy but you learned how to persevere in dire situations... Live life to the fullest! 💖
Thanks for the update! It is cool that you were able to keep your purist goals for the trail. One thought for a future video: compare your initial gear list to your gear at the end of the trail: what worked, what went home, etc...
My wife and I have enjoyed your videos so much. Thank you so much for taking the time to edit/post those. I know that had to be a PITA sometimes(or maybe all the time) but you have provided so much enjoyment for so many people. From your commentary to the pics to your relationships with your various tramily members you did an outstanding job. You seem like a natural videographer. Please keep producing videos as they are so enjoyable. We look forward to whatever is next for you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all of your hard work. Keep on a'hiking.
Congrats on the final to Katahdin. Its been so great watching your amazing adventure. The saddest part of the whole adventure I think we all knew would be the saying goodbye at the end and for us subscribers it was also sad to see this coming to an end, you get used to tuning in when notifications come that another video is up, I know this takes so much of your time to edit an upload all these and we really did appreciate the time and effort you went to for us as well. And on the plus side you have a wonderful video memory of all the trip :) I am sorry to hear that you came home right when Hurricane Ian was making his presence felt but really glad that your area there was spared any real damage. :) I, like many of your subscribers I am sure will keep watching for whatever you post and watch along. Myself, I am particularly interested in the other part of your life, the dancing, and hoping to see more of it. The hiking as been fun and while I have not watched anyone doing the other trails, I will definitely watch my 'Fab 4' in whatever you attempt in the future. Stay safe and greetings from Australia. :)
@@hikingdancer Yes indeed :) I have followed Kaity for many years as a geocacher. When she started the AT I followed along and became a fan of the 'fab 4' as i called you ladies lol. While hiking a trail like that is not my thing, I enjoyed the trip with you all. I much prefer 4wding, bushwalking in Australia and geocaching worldwide. Also I did ballet all through my childhood and right up to teachers. I love watching ballroom, just have never done it myself. So yes I am very interested to see anything you post in relation to your dancing including competitions :) I will also watch anything you post including hiking :) Thanks again for the opportunity to tag along :)
Thanks for taking us along. Gotta say, when you started I thought you were a long shot to reach Katahdin. Having attempted thru hiking the AT twice, I can appreciate your struggles and am very impressed with your ability to carry on. Great stuff! Best of luck in the future; will follow your pct.
One thing that I really liked about following your journey on the AT was/is your wonderful spirit & demeanor. You’re so kind & gracious. Very well spoken. I’d love to watch you do the Pinhoti trail. It’s basically in my backyard & as you probably know it’s part of the Appalachian mountains. Regardless of whatever hikes you do, I’ll be watching. Sometimes commenting as well. Hope you get on a trail again real soon. I myself have issues with heights & those rock scrambles on Katahdin seem scary to me. Glad you shared your thoughts about the scrambles with us….
Congratulations again you were awesome. I am the same way it really wouldn't feel like a true through hike if I didn't do every inch of them lovely white blazes. Can't wait for your gear review, does and don't, and next hike...you were truly awesome 👏
I'm so proud of you. You hiked your own hike and it was a pleasure to follow you along. I knew you would make it through. Face time Groceries next best thing to being with them. Y'all made a great team together May God Bless you always sweet lady . Wanda🏆 🙏🙏🙏❤️👍💪👏☕
Thanks Road Runner, I'll be taking my shot in 2023. It's been really cool to follow your hike, you're a true hikers hiker. If you'd consider a Q&A? , someone who just finished the AT and is in great condition & health and a great attitude is someone who has alot to offer the hiking community. Road Runner is a bad ass!
so glad for you, but I'm sad that I won't have your journey to watch anymore...it will almost be like post trail depression for me too ....I still have wise acres though...for a bit. I loved how you overwrote all of the unsupportive comments on the summit video...that was a really nice touch.....and you really showed them all!
Glad to see you back and settled. Best of luck with all your future endeavors. I look forward to future videos from you. I appreciate your candor and honesty about the finish.
Thank you for the update, glad to see you looking so well, adjusting back to home life can be a challenge but you look like you are handling it well. Glad Ian didn’t cause any damage to your home. Looking forward to your future videos. Bravo to you on finishing the AT. A job well done, keep on keepin on!
Thank you so much for posting this video. It’s so good to see that your safe and sound at home. I’m hiking the AT starting March 30, 2023 and you have been such an inspiration. I’m looking forward to your next adventure!
I've finally come this far in your videos. As I mentioned a few months ago I did my thru-hike in 2019, and every so often for months afterward I'd be sitting at a red light or laying in bed and just start laughing at what I spent 5.5 months doing. Laughingly saying to my self 'What kind of idiot does something like that!' haha. 😀 I've not done any properly long multi-month hikes since, but I have done the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail 62 miles; an 87 mile section of the Mountains to Sea Trail; the Long Trail 272 miles; and the Foothills Trail 76 miles. This autumn I might do the Art Loeb Trail which is only 30 miles, so should be a relatively comfortable 3 days and hopefully some autumn colors. I'd love to do the PCT sometime. I hope you get to do it!
The picture doesn’t make the accomplishment!!! Even with no picture, you rocked it and did an amazing thing. You have a picture that so few people have - cherish it!
Thank you for the update, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. We are so glad that you are safe at home. We're looking forward to future adventures. Stay blessed.
Nice wrap up video! Glad you made it home safely - the trail provides! You should be very proud, and it doesn’t matter that you weren’t allowed to stand on the sign. You did it!
I’ve so missed your evening videos and happy to see your update. I knew parting ways with Groceries was going to be tough. You are forever friends now, connected by your passion of hiking and and achievement. I will be following you for sure and look forward to whatever content you put out. A post gear video, maybe? 🤔. Glad you are safe and happy onward trails. 🤘🏻🥾⛰️
Congratulations on completing your journey! Thank you for sharing it with us. This chapter of your life has come to a close. Despite all the pain and suffering and all the exhilaration and joy, life moves on. Time to choose another waypoint and enjoy the journey there!
Welcome home Road Runner! Thanks for updating us now that you are home. Glad you weren't too impacted by the hurricane. Not often that you get a River Crossing in your own neighborhood. It was a pleasure following you on your journey.
I’m happy to hear that you were unharmed from the storm and are in great spirits after your summit of Mt. Katahdin. It has been a true delight following your hike and to be able to provide some trail magic as you and your tramily passed thru the TN/VA sections of the trail. I think your videos have been true to your hike and are the best. I look forward to your future vlogs of whichever route of the Camino you choose, PCT, etc. and am open for hiking the Foothills Trail. 😎 - Jiffy Pop
My longest AT backpacking trip has been one week and one hundred miles. It always takes me a week or so to readjust to normal life when I get back home. Backpacking is such an intense experience, I suppose. I can't imagine what it might be like to readjust after many months and 2,194.3 miles. Good luck and best wishes. Paper Map from Georgia.
Again Congratulations on not only completing the AT but doing it not slack packing. Glad to the hurricane spared you as it did my family there also. Feel free to contact me about the North Country Trail. I received my "River Crossing" shirt today. It is awesome. Thanks for giving crossing a river a new meaning. Look forward to following you on the PCT.
The friends you made on the AT will still be there but at home. I usually get to see about 10 of my AT friends twice a year, sometimes 3 times. We usually get together for a weekend of doing trail magic in the spring. Sometimes we get to see each other at trail days and usually we try to get together sometime in September or October for a weekend of car camping. I talk to them about every 3 weeks either on the phone or via emails or messenger. They will be there for the rest of your like just don't slip away from them. You are a strong hiker and you will love the PCT. I really enjoyed watching your hike. Please post more of your hiking. geek, AT '90 & '02, PCT (1/2) '08
Seeing your update is wonderful. So happy that you finished . Great job. Yes, as a lot of people followed you and other hikers, yes we miss all of your and others videos. Glad Ian was not so bad for you. Thank you for sharing and taking us along.
Congratulations on your success. I hope you got out of the trail everything that you desired. i’ve been following you since your shelter video before you started. I’ve watched almost every video since then. My wife and I had the opportunity to get a shuttle ride from a woman by the name of Marie. Was I surprised when it turned out to be your mom. We had a great conversation about your hike. Your mom is a very kind hearted soul. I don’t even know you and I am so proud of your accomplishment. So what’s next?
Thank you again for taking us along. You are an inspiration; I have a goal to hike the AT in the next few years and you make it seem like its possible. Glad you are safe from the storm... I live close to Daytona Beach, so I know what you went through! :)
I can't believe the ranger wouldn't let you climb the sign! Geez. So unfair. 😞 I guess Jay Wanders Out had the right idea--they got started SUPER early and got there when no one was there at all! They had to wait for people to come take pix of them both on the sign. Anyway YOU DID IT!!!!! Go you. And heck, considering how much *I* miss you and Groceries, I'm sure it's REALLY hard for you guys!
Thank you for updating us on how your transition back to being home has been! Aww..it must have been so hard to say goodbye to Groceries. You were both blessed to have been able to share the AT hiking journey together and to have developed a close friendship. Haha was so cool to see palm trees and the beautiful Florida beaches in your video. Lol a lot different than the scenery on the AT .Was that Clearwater Beach? Glad you were okay from Hurricane Ian! Sorry to hear that you got sick when you got back home. Hope you are feeling better. Maybe due to the sudden change in temperature? Lol Maine being cold and Florida hot? Yes I would love to continue following your channel and seeing more videos!
@@hikingdancer I love the beaches on the gulf side of Florida! So beautiful and blue/greenish! I also love that you can just go right in since the water is not freezing lol! Haven't been to Florida since 2017 but hope to get back someday soon! You are so lucky to live near such beautiful beaches! 😊
I am so proud of you! Well done! Maybe you could thru-hike the Florida Trail in the near(er) term before the PCT since it is significantly shorter and the logistics would be cheaper and easier
I LOVE the pic of you and Groceries next to the sign. I think it's even better than if you would've been able to climb the sign. I'm so glad that you were ok thru Ian, I was thinking of you. I'm looking forward to all your adventures and am so thankful you've taken us along with you. Hopefully I'll see you on a trail one day.
Glad you made it through Hurricane Ian okay! I was surprised by the amount of flooding that happened. Thanks for sharing your post hike thoughts. I especially liked that mini interview with Siesta, lol! "You can always get another job." So true. Can't wait to hear more of your future adventures. I'll be interested to hear your post-hike gear thoughts also. Do you think your dancing/active background really helped with your hike? Did you do any stretching/warm-ups to start the day? Thanks again!
Thanks for this video! We’re really believe that you came in a ‘black hole’ (een zwart gat) as we Dutch Will say! An emptiness after such an adventure! We just came home from a week Florida! Hope you find your way again soon! And really friends you don’t lose, you just don’t see them as often anymore! Take care!!
The fact that you were so distraught over leaving Groceries shows that you have made a lifelong friend/sister/tramily. You both can stay in touch and cherish your friendship for the rest of your lives. A friendship like that is hard to come by. You both are amazing women!

Yeah, I love that

Agreed. I said it in my comment on your summit video, but that photo is now THE iconic photo of the AT.
I'm seeing a lot of people here love it including yours truely
Thank you for saying that
here is the deal, You post it, We will Watch...
Ok! Deal!
I've watched scores of thru-hiker vlogs over the past few years but your post-trail video was by far the most eloquent, honest, and bittersweet of all. Thanks for taking us along. Hope to see you someday on trail. --Pale Rider

Well, you had me crying along with you about parting with Groceries but I broke out laughing when you announced, “River crossing!”
LOL! Exactly the same! :D
I HAD to. 😂
You had a great time, made a fab history of it, and you will have these memories, with Groceries, forever. I still hike the AT, with my old Budds, in my sleep . . . Thank You For Sharing, Dancer.
That’s so lovely to read
Out of all the through hikers channels I’ve followed I’ve enjoyed yours the most. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you Kirk
Thanks for doing the follow up video. Yes what you did you should be proud of. Now you can do anything you set your mind to.

Me too. Already dreaming about it.
Great Wrap Up!

Thank you for taking us along! Fabulous!
Thank you for coming along
Proud of you. Happy for you. Will watch every video you post just like we have thru the entire AT. 🥾🥾🥾
Thank you
My wife and I have enjoyed your videos so much.
Thank you
Congrats on the final to Katahdin. And on the plus side you have a wonderful video memory of all the trip :)
I am sorry to hear that you came home right when Hurricane Ian was making his presence felt but really glad that your area there was spared any real damage. :)
I, like many of your subscribers I am sure will keep watching for whatever you post and watch along.
Mhhh. Interested in my dancing huh? That’ll be quite different than hiking
Wow. You did it. Such a great accomplishment you should be so proud of yourself. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
I’m proud of your accomplishment. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Thank you
Thanks for taking us along. Gotta say, when you started I thought you were a long shot to reach Katahdin. Having attempted thru hiking the AT twice, I can appreciate your struggles and am very impressed with your ability to carry on. Great stuff! Best of luck in the future; will follow your pct.
Appreciate that
One thing that I really liked about following your journey on the AT was/is your wonderful spirit & demeanor.
I’ll definitely do the Pinhoti at some point. Right now I’m a bit full of East Coast hiking and am looking into a bit different terrain
Congratulations again you were awesome. I am the same way it really wouldn't feel like a true through hike if I didn't do every inch of them lovely white blazes. Can't wait for your gear review, does and don't, and next hike...you were truly awesome 👏
Thank you
I truly enjoyed following your journey!! Thanks so much for taking me along!
Thank you
I'm so proud of you. You hiked your own hike and it was a pleasure to follow you along. I knew you would make it through. Face time Groceries next best thing to being with them. Y'all made a great team together May God Bless you always sweet lady . Wanda🏆 🙏🙏🙏❤️👍💪👏☕
Thank you
Thanks Road Runner, I'll be taking my shot in 2023. It's been really cool to follow your hike, you're a true hikers hiker. If you'd consider a Q&A? , someone who just finished the AT and is in great condition & health and a great attitude is someone who has alot to offer the hiking community. Road Runner is a bad ass!
I’m definitely going to do Q&A
So proud of you! Congratulations on a job well done.
Thank you
so glad for you, but I'm sad that I won't have your journey to watch anymore...it will almost be like post trail depression for me too ....I still have wise acres though...for a bit.
I loved how you overwrote all of the unsupportive comments on the summit video...that was a really nice touch.....and you really showed them all!
Thank you. I’m planning to watch my own videos because I already miss it so much
Glad to see you back and settled. Best of luck with all your future endeavors. I look forward to future videos from you. I appreciate your candor and honesty about the finish.
Thank you
Thank you for the update, glad to see you looking so well, adjusting back to home life can be a challenge but you look like you are handling it well. Glad Ian didn’t cause any damage to your home. Looking forward to your future videos. Bravo to you on finishing the AT. A job well done, keep on keepin on!
Thank you
Thank you so much for posting this video. It’s so good to see that your safe and sound at home. I’m hiking the AT starting March 30, 2023 and you have been such an inspiration. I’m looking forward to your next adventure!
Oh yay! I’m so excited for you! Will you be vlogging?
They ought to have a zip line descent!
Yes 100 % agree
I hope so too
Enjoyed following! Thanks for sharing..congratulations again! Will be here when you are ready to do the PCT
Yay 😀
The picture doesn’t make the accomplishment!!! Even with no picture, you rocked it and did an amazing thing. You have a picture that so few people have - cherish it!
Thank you
Thank you for the update, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. We are so glad that you are safe at home. We're looking forward to future adventures. Stay blessed.
Thank you
Enjoyed Hiking with you with your videos.. thank You
Thank you for coming along
Yes would love more videos. I miss your "Good Morning!"
Awe I miss saying it
Nice wrap up video! Glad you made it home safely - the trail provides! You should be very proud, and it doesn’t matter that you weren’t allowed to stand on the sign. You did it!
Thank you
I’ve so missed your evening videos and happy to see your update. I knew parting ways with Groceries was going to be tough. You are forever friends now, connected by your passion of hiking and and achievement. I will be following you for sure and look forward to whatever content you put out. A post gear video, maybe? 🤔. Glad you are safe and happy onward trails. 🤘🏻🥾⛰️
Absolutely! Coming up soon.
I’m happy for you and proud of your success!!
Thank you
Congratulations on completing your journey! Thank you for sharing it with us. This chapter of your life has come to a close. Despite all the pain and suffering and all the exhilaration and joy, life moves on. Time to choose another waypoint and enjoy the journey there!
Thank you
Welcome home Road Runner! Thanks for updating us now that you are home. Glad you weren't too impacted by the hurricane. Not often that you get a River Crossing in your own neighborhood. It was a pleasure following you on your journey.
Thank you for coming along
I’m happy to hear that you were unharmed from the storm and are in great spirits after your summit of Mt. Katahdin. It has been a true delight following your hike and to be able to provide some trail magic as you and your tramily passed thru the TN/VA sections of the trail. I think your videos have been true to your hike and are the best. I look forward to your future vlogs of whichever route of the Camino you choose, PCT, etc. and am open for hiking the Foothills Trail. 😎 - Jiffy Pop
Awe yay. Ok but it’s your turn to do the AT now 🤗
My longest AT backpacking trip has been one week and one hundred miles. It always takes me a week or so to readjust to normal life when I get back home. Backpacking is such an intense experience, I suppose. I can't imagine what it might be like to readjust after many months and 2,194.3 miles. Good luck and best wishes. Paper Map from Georgia.
Thank you
Again great job. Glad your home was not damaged when I'm passed by. Stay healthy. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Thank you
Again Congratulations on not only completing the AT but doing it not slack packing. Glad to the hurricane spared you as it did my family there also. Feel free to contact me about the North Country Trail. I received my "River Crossing" shirt today. It is awesome. Thanks for giving crossing a river a new meaning. Look forward to following you on the PCT.
Yay. What color shirt did you get?
@@hikingdancer Green.
Please do more! You are very enjoyable to follow and we that followed you are suffering withdrawal and would like more!
Thank you
The friends you made on the AT will still be there but at home.
Thank you for the great advice
It is amazing. Nice job and good show.
Thank you very much!
Seeing your update is wonderful. So happy that you finished . Great job. Yes, as a lot of people followed you and other hikers, yes we miss all of your and others videos. Glad Ian was not so bad for you. Thank you for sharing and taking us along.
Thank you
Congratulations!!!! FYI purist is latin for thru hiker!!! LOL!!! Thank you so much for sharing your hike.
Lol! Nice
Awe yay. Yes that’s my mom. Thank you for the $20. I was able to use that to have my mom mail my umbrella back to me 🤗
Thank you again for taking us along. You are an inspiration; I have a goal to hike the AT in the next few years and you make it seem like its possible. Glad you are safe from the storm... I live close to Daytona Beach, so I know what you went through! :)
Hope all is ok on your end with regard to hurricane Ian
I have really enjoyed watching your adventures!
Thank you
I can't believe the ranger wouldn't let you climb the sign! Geez.
Yeah it is
Thank you for updating us on how your transition back to being home has been!
It was St Pete beach 🏖 my favorite
@@hikingdancer I love the beaches on the gulf side of Florida! So beautiful and blue/greenish! I also love that you can just go right in since the water is not freezing lol! Haven't been to Florida since 2017 but hope to get back someday soon! You are so lucky to live near such beautiful beaches! 😊
I am so proud of you! Well done! Maybe you could thru-hike the Florida Trail in the near(er) term before the PCT since it is significantly shorter and the logistics would be cheaper and easier
It’s not on top of my list! I hiked 5 miles of it and was not a fan
So happy for you! Glad to know your home was not impacted by the storm!
Waiting for your next adventure 😊
Thank you
I LOVE the pic of you and Groceries next to the sign. I think it's even better than if you would've been able to climb the sign. I'm so glad that you were ok thru Ian, I was thinking of you. I'm looking forward to all your adventures and am so thankful you've taken us along with you. Hopefully I'll see you on a trail one day.
Would be lovely
Glad you made it through Hurricane Ian okay! I was surprised by the amount of flooding that happened.
Thanks for sharing your post hike thoughts. I especially liked that mini interview with Siesta, lol! "You can always get another job." So true.
Can't wait to hear more of your future adventures. I'll be interested to hear your post-hike gear thoughts also. Do you think your dancing/active background really helped with your hike? Did you do any stretching/warm-ups to start the day? Thanks again!
Good questions. Will address them in my videos
Very much enjoyed watching your hike, I will stay tuned for more. Congratulations on completing the AT ❤️
Thank you
Thanks for this video! We’re really believe that you came in a ‘black hole’ (een zwart gat) as we Dutch Will say! An emptiness after such an adventure! We just came home from a week Florida! Hope you find your way again soon! And really friends you don’t lose, you just don’t see them as often anymore! Take care!!
Very true
