Have not used my hp 3520 in about 6 to 8 months . It ran out of ink . I just got ink and have ran the cleaner . As well I have ran status reports etc . It will Not Print Black for some reason . Would you think it is cleaning or aftermarket ink or the printer ?
I'm kinda new in this of working with the printers and I'll like to know if you can tell where I can buy some ink so I can refill my cartridges? thanks
You sometimes get a bit of fluid on the rollers, but this just affects a few prints. Use paper towel if you want to be sure to avoid any spillage, though
On my 7610, underneath the ink system, where it rests when not in use, all the way to the right and side of the printer, there appears to be black ink covering everything. Is that supposed to be there? Should I clean it off? I haven't taken it apart to see what it is covering, but I am getting the ink system failure error. Where do I get the cleaning kits with the appropriate silicone tips to go on the syringes and the cleaning fluid?
That area is supposed to be like that. It is known as a spittoon, it is an area that it spits out ink before, during, and after printing to keep the printhead from drying up and clogging :)

The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.

Audio is very faint, even when using headphones with volume maxed out.

Hi. I suspect the waste ink tank is full: I would contact www.octoink.co.uk/categories/Waste-Ink-Solutions/
That area is supposed to be like that. It is known as a spittoon, it is an area that it spits out ink before, during, and after printing to keep the printhead from drying up and clogging :)
Now the 6900 series does not allow the heads to be removed.
