This is phenomenal! It sort of eliminated the triviality of that schoolboy-esque falsetto present on the track (still incredible, and I personally love the falsetto); your voice is fit for every indie-rock/post-punk revival band that has the possibility of being created. Also, Eternal Summer is a difficult track to play on an acoustic guitar, and you smashed it!
Falsetto? Doesn't he (Julian) just sing it an octave higher than the rest of the song? I mean with full voice or whatever it's called. I mean there's power behind his singing in that part.
@@mungofinalfi4480 I think it's more of a mixed voice actually (in that he uses both his chest and head voices); the comment is really about the 'schoolboy-esque' qualities of that semi-falsetto. He, of course, maintains a sort of power, but that simply comes with training.
Rocked itinerary! Unreal my comment is in the hundreds a year after posting. This happened when I lived in North Beach and saw Alanis Morrisett in tower records parking lot...just a matter of time :) btw- You hit a Chris Whitley nerve in me.
My favourite song of that new album, did not expected it would ever exist as accoustic and... What a wonderfull version you made of it !! Really nice great job
Another great cover! You've inspired me to pick up my guitar again that I gave up playing few years ago. Also, I'd love to hear a fall out boy cover from you, if possible, thnks fr th mmrs and Uma Thurman.
Here's my Original Songs Playlist, there is lots of studio recordings from my previous bands and solo work ua-cam.com/play/PL4_CPKTxpuICsVuMfi71b029pJUwNSqH6.html
This is seriously good man. Way better than I expected an acoustic version of this song to be. Very well done!
Oh this is phenomenal, I especially love the "they got the remedy" section
didn't imagine this is gonna be good in acoustic, Great job sir!
your best cover from The strokes
Awesome . No pink Floyd effects and still solid. GreAt version.

Only one remark: missed the explosion on the "i cant believe it..."

Strange, but for me it sounds like standard tuning and capo on 1st
detunned ?
That was good until the last 30 seconds or so.
Doesn’t really sound like it
