It’s amazing what we learn over the years with road trips and life to that fact. You talking about how you do it so differently now made me think about how my road trips have evolved themselves over the years. Safe travels friend!
I kinda stumbled upon this video and I am glad that I did. I have lived in Oregon all my life as did my father and grandfather. I have always felt in my soul that Oregon is the most beautiful area on earth. Oregon is in my bones and in my soul I am now 73 years old and live on the Southern Oregon Coast. I have known so many people over my lifetime, some who were born here and many, many more who have come here from so many backgrounds. And very few have known and felt the magical soul of this unique place in the universe. I have friends and relatives who have not had sand between their toes since they were children. They would not leave their house or get out of their car if the weather was the least bit "inclement" unless it was to go to Wal-Mart. "Bravo"! to you Kaylan for knowing your own inner soul and finding a land to nurture it. You are so young, (yes, I have grand-kids your age) and I hope and pray (although I am not religious) that the world turns out good for you. Just remember that no matter how much evil there is on this planet with wars and famine and general chaos, you will always be able to smell the sage and juniper of Oregon. Jerry
Aww this was so beautiful I appreciate your wise words!!! Sounds like you settled in one of my favorite places on earth. It truly is so special but where you live is my favorite place in the state!! Thank you so much friend I’m glad you stumbled upon this video ♥️
Oregon is such an amazing place to live. Anytime we vacation elsewhere, we’re always happy to be back home 💕 I love watching your adventures, Safe travels!
I feel like I was a nomad in another like. My spirit feels so restless in this settled down lifestyle I have. 🥺 I’m trying to still follow that part of me, but it can be hard.
Another wonderful video Kaylan! I'm very happy you enjoyed our little corner of the world. Enjoy your next adventure and come back to visit again. Safe travels Kaylan.
Hi ya Kaylan, thank you 🙏 for sharing another awesome video and your commentaries are amazing, can’t wait for the next . Take care and stay safe cheers from Australia 🌟🌺😂🥰🩷
Oregon’s sure gonna miss you, but IdaHome (Grew up and reside in Eugene, born in Boise) is sure to not disappoint. Super excited to see the adventures you find and reveal from my beloved home-state. A true gem and a high-desert haven. 😮💨🤌🏼
@kaylanrosa you should check out Lapush Washington. Long boardwalks through the coastal rainforest down to a secluded beaches and beautiful old growth trees. If you get a chance next year make the drive! Have fun in Oregon. I live in Central Oregon just east of Bend looking 360 degrees of the Cascades and Eastern mountains. It's quite beautiful here!
17:23 Graceful. I don't think I've seen you cover *all* the geography of Oregon in a single video. That was quite the experience. I especially loved those ocean sunsets at the start. Well, here's to living out of my car and camping again! That's what I'm back to, at least for the time being, even though I'm still teaching college classes in south Georgia. I notice you cook in cast iron on the road. Do you do it over a fire? Your meals look so delicious, now I'm thinking of digging my skillet out of storage. I know about seasoning and caring for cast iron at home. Are there any special pointers you can give for doing so on the road?
Awww thank you so much I tried to make a love letter to all the landscapes of Oregon :) sounds like a lovely life and I’d say cast iron is essential for such!! So easy to clean!! I do cook over the fire when I can. Definitely will keep that in mind for future videos!!!

Have you ever considered your carbon foot print and how much you are adding to global warming by the thousands of unnecessary miles you drive each year.
it’s not unnecessary, given I have to get to seasonal jobs and I have to move with weather. In doing so, I move pretty slow. Would you live in your car in freezing temperatures or 100+ degrees? Have you considered your carbon foot print from flying in planes, eating out of season/non local, or consuming meat?

The beach, the lake, look desert, it's a shame to wear swimsuits.
Can’t let the horn dogs on UA-cam have it all unfortunately 😉
