Been making different teas for a few years now. I highly suggest picking up a decent microscope.
Without a scope you have no idea what you have brewed, there are so many variables.
The microscope has completely changed how I brew different teas now.

That’s an interesting idea. I will have to look into that. Thanks!

So what exactly are you looking for with a Microscope? (I've never made the tea but interested in learning)

@@broussardsaint5364 In regards to making various teas, #1 would be I am not brewing any harmful fungi and spraying on my plants.
Mostly it is to optimize the bacteria and protozoa, if you brew to long you can actually get a reduction in biology. There are a lot of variables, and without a microscope you have no idea what is really in your tea.
I also use it to check my worm casting, compost, leaf mold and to see what is alive, or not in my garden soils.
I am by no means a microbiologist, but the microscope is an aid in the way I garden.
      Stay Well!!!

How do you sift out the worm castings when done so it won’t clog a sprayer?

So right now we have been using a pillow case but it’s not working real well so we are needing to try a different kind. It works well enough but it could be easier. Our brewing parts actually came with a bag to sift out the castings but my dogs tore it up…
