Absolutely beautiful. Behind my house in Murrieta ca , there was a village and we’ve got Motaro holes throughout the hills. After the fire a few years ago is when we found a lot of them. There are arrowheads still you find to this day even with all the foot traffic in the trails. But we call it “The Springs” Our town had so much history but has gotten built up so much and that’s the last little bit we have still🤍 I love your videos ✨
I love the fact that you use Google Earth to show the area you are talking about. It gives the viewer great perspective. What a beautiful God given area. The ancients really knew how to pick them. Thank you so much Alex for the excellent video once again.❤💯👍🖐👏👏👏
Hello again. That was a beautiful rattle snake! I appreciate your ability to recognize features like rock walls and enclosures. Most people wouldn't see that.
Hey Alex great video as usual! I always look forward to them. I have often thought that after our modern civilization with all it's technology is gone, these petroglyphs will still be there.
Awesome Alex! What a beautiful place! Your narration, music and overall production makes it super special! Thank you for inspiring us to explore!!! Looking forward to your next one. Cheers!!!
Alex, thank you for continuing to make these videos. I just recently discovered your channel and was hoping you would still be posting new content. I’ve watched pretty much every video you’ve posted. Kind of cool to literally watch you grow older with the years, and STILL find time to post these videos and get the information out to us. I hope to follow your footsteps to see these places in person.
Always a great Share and adventure my friend. Appreciated. Alex, is their still a spring near by? It is an amazing view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Could explore there for a long time. Tya kindly
Alex I don’t know if you notice all the huge stone faces there. I seen a face of a lion. A warthog a tiger , birds and the faces of men all over the place there. It’s amazing to me to be able to see the things the natives carved out of the multiple stones. There everywhere there. Such an amazing site this time!!!
Alex I think alot of the petroglyphs are detailing what they saw in the sky , especially during cataclysms .that's why they were inside under rock structures.to survive when red rain and mud fell, rocks fell from the sky torrential downpours and lightning
What a coincidence I was there just last week looking at the Bishop petroglyphs and village that appeared in your video "Ancient Paiute Indian Camp Episode 1 of 2". It was saddening to see how faded the petroglyphs were now and how many of the stone foundations of the houses were barely visible and looked like they had been thrown around. But it is great to see how there are still sites like the one you showed here where the petroglyphs are more visible and better preserved.
All of these petroglyphs are maps, some spiritual and some physical... I don't know what all the symbols mean, but I learned how to follow the maps to the sybolic location indicated... spiritually and physically, LOL!. It has proven to be a sure way to locate sites! Nice video, Sir. Thank you again for your great content!
I've been exploring the Owens Valley area since I was a kid. Snakes are not common. Occasionally you will see one. Especially roadkill in the springtime. But a full day of hiking will not usually reveal one. That is big rough dry country, high desert bracketed by huge mountains. All water and life there is a bit rare and special.
I often watch my kids doodle out of boredom and wonder if pioneer and/or indian kids ever doodled out of boredom also?....wagon wheel breaks and they camp for a few days, meanwhile the kids start scratching on rocks.... warriors leave the women and children for a few days, the women are busy but the kids are busy scratching doodles everywhere....?
I'm thinking along the same lines, most of the glyphs look like they were made by children or teenagers, just as the graffiti is today. The really artistic pieces are rare and are usually at remote locations.
America sure did a good job at erasing native history, I'm sure we would understand a lot more about these petroglyphs if it wasn't for the destruction that was caused to the native people. Also I walked over a rattlesnake in the Stanislaus forest one time and it rattled and slithered off so I got lucky on that one but I'll definitely keep an eye out for them when I'm in their zone.
Native American's can interpret some of the symbols, they also will point out when some are too Ancient for their knowledge, and/or if it is another Tribes. I just feel we could dig deeper into these and with software, we could gain a greater accuracy and potentially gain an insight into their messages. 🗝️ 🐍
Alex, thank you for taking us along on your hikes!
Alex Another great trek, In such a wonderful place. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

This look amazing, reminds me of the Ridgecrest petroglyph site I went to years ago with my parents.

Alex, once more, you’ve knocked it out of the park.

Sometimes the drawings are sprites like we see now or burkland current plasma
your in a league that is head and shoulders above the rest ALEX

Worldwide ppl tracked cataclysm cycles.they knew them.we have not been told about them.indiginous ppls know the events coming ,maybe 2040 and 2046
Alex, I have an old saying. I would rather have a snake in my yard than a mouse in my house.

Thru genocide. We are still here though.
