It's always nice to see some of the younger generations salvaging what others callously throw away. With some luck there will be a detailed patent filed for that Wheel Horse if you can find the model number somewhere on it, that is if you're interested in replacing any missing parts/repairing as close to the original as possible. It never ceases to dishearten me the functional machines and items people will throw away simply because they are too lazy to find them a new home, though without their slothfulness you wouldn't have found such a "diamond amongst the glass".
Dear sir nice save these tractors are tanks fix that up n it won't let you done there very well built n you can still get the parts on line for it I have three of these n would like to have more there very useful tractors. Ray Stein
I've seen a few old tractors at the yard that were in nice shape but there was an old Toro like that it looked like it came off the showroom floor aside from being dusty it still had ALL of the rubber nibs on the tires but those tires were stock not replaced
@@scrapyardengines9741 dude Ive tried and I've nearly cried but once it's off the truck I'm out of luck if I talked to the other scrap guy and we go down the street I could get it but we couldn't do it in their parking lot they wouldn't let us
@@scrapyardengines9741 I've only trashed about three but they were gone one needed a deck and some wiring that burned up and the transmission was locked up but the wheels fit my good mower and I had a John Deere with a broken transmission but it had a twisted frame I always take off the wheels and the blades though too bad that Kohler was a pretty good engine

@@Nomed38 I’ve found a tractor before at the scrapyard, put a battery in it and it ran, sold it the next week for 350$
That's an absolute dream of a garden tractor. People are foolish
These are such nice machines. My dad has always had these my whole life.

who would scrap that.. old machines are the best
I have two 1967 and love them 👍
I like the wheel horse mower decks. I’m building a pull type that runs off the rear pto of a cub cadet.
Nice find
