And each person lies for the same reason, the truth is too much for them. Kaede is too idealistic and so she lied an an idealistic lie hoping she could somehow end this. Shuichi couldn’t handle the fact Kaede tried to end the game and died for it, and the truth was too hard for him to handle so he hid from it. Kokichi always lied to himself and to others pretending to enjoy this horrible killing game

can i just take a moment to like praise you? you capture every character's psychology perfectly, from Shuichi's character development to Kaede's sanity slippage. And with such sweet tunes too. im glad you've started getting more recognition with these songs because you honestly deserve it.
Anri Warhol I wouldn't say Kaede is necessarily going insane. If you do her free time events (specially Kokichi's), they foreshadow heavily that she believes violence can be justified, even required, in the right situation. The way she acts in the first chapter implied she's willing to dirty her own hands if it means saving others. I'm think what she did is pretty noble, even if it backfired horribly.
Oh, I'm not denying that she had completely noble intentions or saying that she was insane. It's just that, her mental state was definitely not in a good place (naturally). Sanity slippage wasn't the most accurate way to word it, I meant more how she got more desperate and backed into a corner.

I think it was Miu's or Tenko's event where Kaede says, when the other says they are going to hurt everyone, Kaede says "violence is only acceptable in self-defense", implying she believes violence is acceptable in the righf circumstances (and what better circumstances than a killing game?). Even less subtle is Kokichi's FTE, where Kaede says that "it's common sense that his organization can't be real", to which he responds "common sense? What's that, common sense? How do you know what you think is common sense is the same everyone else sees as common sense?". It implies heavily that Kaede's beliefs might be different, even more extreme, than that of the other people around. Now, if you're still not past chapter 1, you'll probably just think Kokichi is messing around, simce it's what he normally does, and leave it at that. However, if you come after playing more of the game, you'll know that, when it comes to the personality of other people, he never lies and is always spot-on. I dunno, just thought it was really clever.

I haven't been into DR in a long time and I'm still not as of now but from what I remember of Kaede's character god this song does SUCH a good job of capturing Kaede's journey through the short span of time we knew her. The lyrics and tone shifts and the ending do such a good job of capturing her characterization in song form and just. I love this song so much
this was so accurate...it scared me. especially when just recently made a point that Kaede is a little too idealistic. Ouma=Fukase Shuichi=Len Kaede=Miku idk vocaloid so someone tell me who else is who.

if Kiyo isn't deep Gackupo...Just listen to Chateau Cepage, you'll see that beautiful voice in action. Twisted as he is, you have to admit his voice is just mmmmmmm. Maybe Nekomura Iroha (a pretty rare Vocaloid, admittedly) as Maki, although I find her being Merli more realistic (also a pretty rare Vocaloid). I'd say 100% Luka = Kirumi, and for Tenko I honestly think Rana works, although that one isn't as solid/sure.
I have to admit this is a bit fast paced and if it weren't for the lyrics on the screen I wouldn't know what she was saying. However the instrumentals are absolutely amazing, I love the fact that, although they were hard to hear, the lyrics truly do express how Kaede feels about all of this, and finally the video was nice and pleasing to look at!
I kind of feel like this is sort of a reference to how quickly she died in DRV3 cuz if you think about it Shuichi's song was the slowest of the three - he lived Ouma's song was faster than Shuichi's - he died in Chapter 5 Kaede's song is the fastest - she died in Chapter 1 That's probably not what it actually is but whatever it's just my opinion
Also to add to my original reply this is what I'd imagine the other character's songs Rantaro - probably a slow & mysterious build up but then as fast as Kaede Ryoma - a depressing song building up to him dying (slower than Kaede and Rantaro) Kirumi - fast song in general, probably about her will to live Angie & Tenko - Angie's would be a bit crazy meanwhile Tenko's would be about her love towards Himiko and both would be slower than Kirumi and Ryoma's songs Kiyo - NOW THIS IS SOME CRAZY SHIT - anyways it'd probably be really slow and creepy in the beginning then really fast (a possible reference to the fire in Ouma's song?) Miu - Something really kinky, and slower than Kiyo/Angie/Tenko's song Gonta - him being the most precious teddy bear and also really sad We've already got Ouma's song Kaito - Really uplifting like Kaede, talking about his sidekicks and the same speed as Kokichi (probably slowing down near the end for his sad death) Keebo - Him realizing his part in the killing game and how long it's been going for and pretty much the same tempo as Shuichi Tsumugi - Something either non-spoilery (being the Ultimate cosplayer) or her being like Junko and her song would be like an odd one out (being faster than the others) Maki - same tempo as Shuichi and probably about her past and her love for Katio Himiko - same tempo as Shuichi and about her character arch with some lines from Tenko's song My god this took a long time to write
*I doubt I'll need this but... just in case... SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER ONE* . . . . . I'm probably the only one who sees this, but it's like these three songs (Killing Harmony, Hiding from the Truth, and Cause I'm a liar) tell a story. This song starts the story, where Kaede wants nothing more than to escape without giving into the killing game until eventually losing herself trying to save the others, wanting the truth to be shown no matter what. Then is Shuichi's song, it's his inner monologue about how Kaede feels about the situation during the class trial until it hit the climax when the role of protagonist switches to him and he realizes the best way out is to, sadly, convict Kaede for this murder. Finally ending with Kokichi's song where up until the climax he's basically bashing Shuichi for how he feels about this situation, again, changing into Kokichi freaking out about how lying is basically costing him his life at this point in the game. I know it may not make much sense, but it's kind of what I saw with the songs.
Kokichis dead was so sad tho cus all he wanted to do was protect everyone with his lies. I personally think from the beginning he lied perfectly to put in the lie that he was the mastermind so when they believed him, he could find the true one before it was too late but ppl be hating and he died 😢😭😭😭😭

Love how Kaede and Kaito, who have a similar philosophy, both express it by mentioning the moon. All of these make me so happy with the little details that just REALLY capture the characters

I absolutely love the piano in the beginning! This is truly amazing and I love how well it brings out Kaede in both the prologue and the first chapter, as well as how she changed during the class trial!! I will not forget to mention how well you bring out her yearning desire to bring the mastermind down, and the way she wanted to make sure everyone made it out of there alive, though she knew when the class trial started that would definitely not be the case. Let's not fail to mention the pun in the title. Everything about this song is amazing!! Keep up the good work, Mcki!!
I'm sorry if this is ranting a little but THIS IS THE BEST FANSONG I'VE EVER SEEN It represents Akamatsu's mental state SO accurately and its combination with Saihara's song is simply fantastic and well-done. The beat and tone is so representative of Akamatsu as well, it's all beautifully done.
What if, kaede didn't kill rantaro. What if we started playing as Shuichi and Kaede was our best friend. Then when we found out shuichi killed rantaro, we switched to kaede. In the canon danganronpa v3, shuichi gained strength cause of kaede. What if, instead, Kaede lost her strength instead. Like, her interactions are almost the same as happy go lucky kaede, but her thought were just... depressing. Idk, I just liked her voice so I just wanted her to live.

O my, I can imagine Miku singing this heartfelt song to Len and I mean both Miku and Kaede are easily well loved by everyone and it hurts to see them go away. Both shuichi and len(by the fandom) are more logical oriented. If this happened to Miku singing this song to Len (boyfriend/younger brother figure/ etc.) when she is about to be forgotten by the vocaloid community I would cry and cry. This also applied to the same effect as both Kaede and shuichi. Sorry I kept rambling on and on. But yeah that song is fast paced and that is what's amazing because it conveys Kaede's desperation. man I should stop talking, it is making my eyes cry out loud

The instrumentals and lyrics themselves are amazing! They really encapsulate Kaedes character the only flaw ist hat sometimes the syllables blend tigether and occassionally somenotes dont necessarily sound quite right ig? Overall brilliant just like the past two good luck with Kiibos cant wait!

this took me MONTHS to realize while listening to this song on repeat, but some parts of the song's melody are the same as the song that plays when the killing deadline is near!! i believe the song is "let's start the killing game." i honestly think that's so cool and clever oh my stars- i realized it when listening to the game's ost and my mind just started singing this song's lyrics. it's really clever and my mind was BLOWN when i noticed it haha. i know this song's been out for five years, but i just find that so cool! if you ever read this, i just wanted to say how grateful i am that you're still making danganronpa songs, even 6 years after v3's release! it helps keep the fandom alive, and as someone who found out about dr fairly recently, it makes me really happy to hear these songs

That's some good shit right there if I do say so myself Like all three of these songs are so catchy, even if I can hardly understand this one without lyrics, and even though I've never played these games or this game or whatever, I get a story out of these songs. Probably not the right story, but nonetheless a story, and it's fun to mentally toy with what might be happening, specifically what may be surrounding this recurring theme of truth and lie. So, hats off to you!
What stories do you get from these songs? I’d really like to know if you don’t mind becuase I’ve seen the game so I know the context which is nice but means I also can’t experience it the same way you are.
(Now that I've typed most of it, just want to say that I get if you don't read this. It's a hell of a lot of text for no reward. I'll put a really basic summary at the end) Well I mean, over time I've kind of built my own mini story around it, and in my head this song isn't just one character, and it's a pretty shit story, especially considering that as I built upon it, it became less consistent with the songs- But here Okay so we start with 'Cause I'm A Liar, and we base a character off of that song. We'll call them, I dunno, Jenna. So we've got Jenna, and then we base a character off of Hiding From The Truth, who we'll name Liam. So we've got them. Now we toss in another character, who we'll calllll... Katy, who is also in a relationship with Liam. So, now off of that, 'Cause I'm a Liar is naturally from Jenna's POV, and Hiding From The Truth is from Liam's. In both, Katy is dead, and Jenna killed her out of jealousy coz she's with Liam and yadda yadda yadda. SO, off of that, Liam sees right through Jenna's bullshit and knows she killed Katy, and Jenna is fully aware that Liam knows, though he doesn't know that detail. And so we finally get to the songs. In this story I've thought of, there's one point all three songs return to: the confrontation; when Liam finally calls Jenna out. So in 'Cause I'm a Liar, the whole time Jenna (coz it's her POV) is acting like she's acting like she didn't kill Katy, though she knows he knows (kinda confusing-), and in the last verse (Am I a... liar? Liar? Does it seem that way to you? After all fire, fire is burning through the roof 'Cause we’re all... liars, liars And I don’t know what’s true! After all fire, fire Has ravaged all I knew I call out liar, liar! But the world has gone askew And there’s nothing else to do Except bid the truth adieu Trust me! What’s a lie? Is it lies? Only lies! You see, I can’t pry my blind eyes while I cry So please, forgive my blackened sky full of lies Truly... Lying! Truly... Dying) we see Jenna (I really need a better name-) basically acting as though she's realized just how twisted she is, and acting like she sees it as her only choice, and crying and all that- essentially, trying to harvest Liam's pity. And it works, and they hug, and that's the end (though her saying 'Cause I'm A Liar again at the end signifies that the breakdown was fake, to me at least-). Oh, and sidenote, the detail that Jenna knows Liam's hiding that he knows she killed Katy comes from the break away part (peek-a-peek-a-boo, i can see right through, cause liars know liars like they know the back of their own hand, and all the other lines there). Then, we've got Hiding From The Truth, and again it's rather self explanatory. He's hiding from the truth, and Jenna acts oblivious. And there's probably other stuff I've thought up in between but really the confrontation is the important part so, last verse again. (C-cause it’s painful knowing about the worst to come Pointing to the truth that I’ve been hiding from It’s excruciating what I have to do Turning from you and grabbing the truth No that’s wrong, I agree I know now, I can see All the lies all the truths (You know what you have to do) Looking in your eyes and loathing where this has lead You’ll only end up dead So let’s destroy the truth instead) The important part here is that we get more of the story kinda. He points to the truth, AKA calling Jenna out, but then we get this detail: Liam looks into Jenna's eyes and loathes where this has lead, knows she'll just end up dead, and says 'Let's destroy the truth instead', hugging her as mentioned, and essentially saying that we can just forget about this, and it will be okay. But we still don't have the whole psychological part of the story, or the actual conversation they had, which is where Killing Harmony comes in. (Side Note: If it wasn't clear earlier, I imagine this song, KH, to be like a conversation. Instead of the inner thoughts of people, it's actually some of the things they say to each other, and we don't actually see inside anyone's head) So, in Killing Harmony, we actually get to see more story BEFORE, which goes something like this: Katy, Jenna, and Liam are all sort of "trapped" in life, with only each other to /really/ help. And Katy is like the happy, bouncy girl, who decides that we're going to get to the bottom of this and make ourselves happy again, and Liam kind of warns her that this is a bad idea. For Example: Katy: In the distance a sad melody plays Tapping only the keys that have gone gray So I reach out to heal the dismay Liam: Only to be ripped apart again K: Following the tune of this deep despair L: Will only allow us to be ensnared Disconnecting in a horrid nightmare Only to be bloodied once again So there's that, and basically we just see them interacting, and there's a lot of fairly important stuff there to go into but there's a good chance you aren't even really interested so I'll leave most of that out. Basically, Jenna plants seeds of despair, and also keeps talking to Katy privately. And then kills her (at the part where it's said that hope will bloom when the monster's dead, there's a tad more on that but y'know), and then we jump straight into the middle of the confrontation, a part we actually haven't seen before with the conversation going as follows: J: Take a step together through the darkness L: Someone’s in the way J: Even in a place full of such harshness L: Only one will pay J: In this symphony the notes are harmless L: But to our dismay Such a game has already engulfed us J: Even if we L: Even if we? J: Even if /you/ Know what to do L: Even if I Even if I’m The true monster And here, Liam suddenly turns on himself, reasoning that since he knew that Jenna was jealous, and since he knew Jenna klled Katy but has waited so long to act, and never warned Katy in the first place, that he must be the true monster, and turns to killing himself. And this is all just as they finally, as Katy wanted, are getting out of the stuckness of their lives. And then, Jenna tries to convince him not to kill himself, because, you know, she loves him. L: My heart’s hopeful for the light that you’ll be facing soon Playing happy melodies under the glowing moon J: Reaching into your own dismay it’s the only way To complete the promise that we all made We said together let’s leave this place L: And I’m sorry that that won’t be the case J: Dispose of the lie that failed you (referring to killing her instead) L: Promise me you’ll reach for the truth That’s this monster’s final hope for you Let me be the last to play this Killing harmony And finally, we're done. Overall, the timeline is that these three friends (J, L, K) are stuck in their own lives, J kills K out of romantic jealousy for L, J and L both pretend it didn't happen for a while, and then they confront, and the L decides it's on him and kills himself, leaving J to fall deeper into her own despair out of fucking this all up, blaming herself. So yeah, that's what my first thoughts of the story have evolved to. It's a lot of fuckin text but, there ya go.

Basically I am listening to your danganronpa songs every time I need to write a story with certain characters. So I listened to those over 50 times for sure- What I realized is that your songs highly rely on lyrics and that you show psychology of the characters amazingly. And what you are trying to show in those songs is how they have changed! In every song their first chorus changes almost to opposite in the last chorus. Maybe I am wrong and maybe you won't see cuz MAN THIS VIDEO IS OLD but wanted to point out since I can't stop listening to them!

can i just take a moment to like praise you? you capture every character's psychology perfectly, from Shuichi's character development to Kaede's sanity slippage. And with such sweet tunes too. im glad you've started getting more recognition with these songs because you honestly deserve it.
Anri Warhol I wouldn't say Kaede is necessarily going insane. If you do her free time events (specially Kokichi's), they foreshadow heavily that she believes violence can be justified, even required, in the right situation. The way she acts in the first chapter implied she's willing to dirty her own hands if it means saving others. I'm think what she did is pretty noble, even if it backfired horribly.
Oh, I'm not denying that she had completely noble intentions or saying that she was insane. It's just that, her mental state was definitely not in a good place (naturally). Sanity slippage wasn't the most accurate way to word it, I meant more how she got more desperate and backed into a corner.

I think it was Miu's or Tenko's event where Kaede says, when the other says they are going to hurt everyone, Kaede says "violence is only acceptable in self-defense", implying she believes violence is acceptable in the righf circumstances (and what better circumstances than a killing game?). Even less subtle is Kokichi's FTE, where Kaede says that "it's common sense that his organization can't be real", to which he responds "common sense? What's that, common sense? How do you know what you think is common sense is the same everyone else sees as common sense?". It implies heavily that Kaede's beliefs might be different, even more extreme, than that of the other people around. Now, if you're still not past chapter 1, you'll probably just think Kokichi is messing around, simce it's what he normally does, and leave it at that. However, if you come after playing more of the game, you'll know that, when it comes to the personality of other people, he never lies and is always spot-on.

I haven't been into DR in a long time and I'm still not as of now but from what I remember of Kaede's character god this song does SUCH a good job of capturing Kaede's journey through the short span of time we knew her. The lyrics and tone shifts and the ending do such a good job of capturing her characterization in song form and just. I love this song so much

I have to admit this is a bit fast paced and if it weren't for the lyrics on the screen I wouldn't know what she was saying. I'm probably the only one who sees this, but it's like these three songs (Killing Harmony, Hiding from the Truth, and Cause I'm a liar) tell a story. This song starts the story, where Kaede wants nothing more than to escape without giving into the killing game until eventually losing herself trying to save the others, wanting the truth to be shown no matter what. Then is Shuichi's song, it's his inner monologue about how Kaede feels about the situation during the class trial until it hit the climax when the role of protagonist switches to him and he realizes the best way out is to, sadly, convict Kaede for this murder. Finally ending with Kokichi's song where up until the climax he's basically bashing Shuichi for how he feels about this situation, again, changing into Kokichi freaking out about how lying is basically costing him his life at this point in the game.
I know it may not make much sense, but it's kind of what I saw with the songs.

I absolutely love the piano in the beginning! This is truly amazing and I love how well it brings out Kaede in both the prologue and the first chapter, as well as how she changed during the class trial!! I will not forget to mention how well you bring out her yearning desire to bring the mastermind down, and the way she wanted to make sure everyone made it out of there alive, though she knew when the class trial started that would definitely not be the case.

It represents Akamatsu's mental state SO accurately and its combination with Saihara's song is simply fantastic and well-done. The beat and tone is so representative of Akamatsu as well, it's all beautifully done.
What if, kaede didn't kill rantaro.
What if we started playing as Shuichi and Kaede was our best friend. Then when we found out shuichi killed rantaro, we switched to kaede. In the canon danganronpa v3, shuichi gained strength cause of kaede. What if, instead, Kaede lost her strength instead. Like, her interactions are almost the same as happy go lucky kaede, but her thought were just... depressing.
Idk, I just liked her voice so I just wanted her to live.

O my, I can imagine Miku singing this heartfelt song to Len and I mean both Miku and Kaede are easily well loved by everyone and it hurts to see them go away. Both shuichi and len(by the fandom) are more logical oriented. If this happened to Miku singing this song to Len (boyfriend/younger brother figure/ etc.) when she is about to be forgotten by the vocaloid community I would cry and cry. The instrumentals and lyrics themselves are amazing! They really encapsulate Kaedes character the only flaw ist hat sometimes the syllables blend tigether and occassionally somenotes dont necessarily sound quite right ig? Overall brilliant just like the past two good luck with Kiibos cant wait!

this took me MONTHS to realize while listening to this song on repeat, but some parts of the song's melody are the same as the song that plays when the killing deadline is near!! i believe the song is "let's start the killing game." i honestly think that's so cool and clever oh my stars- i realized it when listening to the game's ost and my mind just started singing this song's lyrics. it's really clever and my mind was BLOWN when i noticed it haha. i know this song's been out for five years, but i just find that so cool! if you ever read this, i just wanted to say how grateful i am that you're still making danganronpa songs, even 6 years after v3's release! it helps keep the fandom alive, and as someone who found out about dr fairly recently, it makes me really happy to hear these songs

Like all three of these songs are so catchy, even if I can hardly understand this one without lyrics, and even though I've never played these games or this game or whatever, I get a story out of these songs. Probably not the right story, but nonetheless a story, and it's fun to mentally toy with what might be happening, specifically what may be surrounding this recurring theme of truth and lie. So, hats off to you!
What stories do you get from these songs? I’d really like to know if you don’t mind becuase I’ve seen the game so I know the context which is nice but means I also can’t experience it the same way you are.
(Now that I've typed most of it, just want to say that I get if you don't read this. It's a hell of a lot of text for no reward. I'll put a really basic summary at the end)
Well I mean, over time I've kind of built my own mini story around it, and in my head this song isn't just one character, and it's a pretty shit story, especially considering that as I built upon it, it became less consistent with the songs- But here
Okay so we start with 'Cause I'm A Liar, and we base a character off of that song. We'll call them, I dunno, Jenna. So we've got Jenna, and then we base a character off of Hiding From The Truth, who we'll name Liam. So we've got them. Now we toss in another character, who we'll calllll... Katy, who is also in a relationship with Liam.
So, now off of that, 'Cause I'm a Liar is naturally from Jenna's POV, and Hiding From The Truth is from Liam's. In both, Katy is dead, and Jenna killed her out of jealousy coz she's with Liam and yadda yadda yadda. SO, off of that, Liam sees right through Jenna's bullshit and knows she killed Katy, and Jenna is fully aware that Liam knows, though he doesn't know that detail. And so we finally get to the songs.
In this story I've thought of, there's one point all three songs return to: the confrontation; when Liam finally calls Jenna out. So in 'Cause I'm a Liar, the whole time Jenna (coz it's her POV) is acting like she's acting like she didn't kill Katy, though she knows he knows (kinda confusing-), and in the last verse (Am I a... liar? Liar? Does it seem that way to you? After all fire, fire is burning through the roof 'Cause we’re all... liars, liars And I don’t know what’s true! After all fire, fire Has ravaged all I knew I call out liar, liar! But the world has gone askew And there’s nothing else to do Except bid the truth adieu Trust me! What’s a lie? Is it lies? Only lies! You see, I can’t pry my blind eyes while I cry So please, forgive my blackened sky full of lies Truly... Lying! Truly... Dying) we see Jenna (I really need a better name-) basically acting as though she's realized just how twisted she is, and acting like she sees it as her only choice, and crying and all that- essentially, trying to harvest Liam's pity. And it works, and they hug, and that's the end (though her saying 'Cause I'm A Liar again at the end signifies that the breakdown was fake, to me at least-). Oh, and sidenote, the detail that Jenna knows Liam's hiding that he knows she killed Katy comes from the break away part (peek-a-peek-a-boo, i can see right through, cause liars know liars like they know the back of their own hand, and all the other lines there).
Then, we've got Hiding From The Truth, and again it's rather self explanatory. He's hiding from the truth, and Jenna acts oblivious. And there's probably other stuff I've thought up in between but really the confrontation is the important part so, last verse again. (C-cause it’s painful knowing about the worst to come Pointing to the truth that I’ve been hiding from It’s excruciating what I have to do Turning from you and grabbing the truth No that’s wrong, I agree I know now, I can see All the lies all the truths (You know what you have to do) Looking in your eyes and loathing where this has lead You’ll only end up dead So let’s destroy the truth instead) The important part here is that we get more of the story kinda. He points to the truth, AKA calling Jenna out, but then we get this detail: Liam looks into Jenna's eyes and loathes where this has lead, knows she'll just end up dead, and says 'Let's destroy the truth instead', hugging her as mentioned, and essentially saying that we can just forget about this, and it will be okay. But we still don't have the whole psychological part of the story, or the actual conversation they had, which is where Killing Harmony comes in.
(Side Note: If it wasn't clear earlier, I imagine this song, KH, to be like a conversation. Instead of the inner thoughts of people, it's actually some of the things they say to each other, and we don't actually see inside anyone's head)
So, in Killing Harmony, we actually get to see more story BEFORE, which goes something like this: Katy, Jenna, and Liam are all sort of "trapped" in life, with only each other to /really/ help. And Katy is like the happy, bouncy girl, who decides that we're going to get to the bottom of this and make ourselves happy again, and Liam kind of warns her that this is a bad idea.
For Example:
Katy: In the distance a sad melody plays
Tapping only the keys that have gone gray
So I reach out to heal the dismay
Liam: Only to be ripped apart again
K: Following the tune of this deep despair
L: Will only allow us to be ensnared
Disconnecting in a horrid nightmare
Only to be bloodied once again
So there's that, and basically we just see them interacting, and there's a lot of fairly important stuff there to go into but there's a good chance you aren't even really interested so I'll leave most of that out. Basically, Jenna plants seeds of despair, and also keeps talking to Katy privately. And then kills her (at the part where it's said that hope will bloom when the monster's dead, there's a tad more on that but y'know), and then we jump straight into the middle of the confrontation, a part we actually haven't seen before with the conversation going as follows:
J: Take a step together through the darkness
L: Someone’s in the way
J: Even in a place full of such harshness
L: Only one will pay
J: In this symphony the notes are harmless
L: But to our dismay
Such a game has already engulfed us
J: Even if we
L: Even if we?

And here, Liam suddenly turns on himself, reasoning that since he knew that Jenna was jealous, and since he knew Jenna klled Katy but has waited so long to act, and never warned Katy in the first place, that he must be the true monster, and turns to killing himself. And this is all just as they finally, as Katy wanted, are getting out of the stuckness of their lives. And then, Jenna tries to convince him not to kill himself, because, you know, she loves him.
L: My heart’s hopeful for the light that you’ll be facing soon

J: Reaching into your own dismay it’s the only way
To complete the promise that we all made

And finally, we're done. Overall, the timeline is that these three friends (J, L, K) are stuck in their own lives, J kills K out of romantic jealousy for L, J and L both pretend it didn't happen for a while, and then they confront, and the L decides it's on him and kills himself, leaving J to fall deeper into her own despair out of fucking this all up, blaming herself.
So yeah, that's what my first thoughts of the story have evolved to. It's a lot of fuckin text but, there ya go.

Basically I am listening to your danganronpa songs every time I need to write a story with certain characters. So I listened to those over 50 times for sure-
What I realized is that your songs highly rely on lyrics and that you show psychology of the characters amazingly. And what you are trying to show in those songs is how they have changed! In every song their first chorus changes almost to opposite in the last chorus. Maybe I am wrong and maybe you won't see cuz MAN THIS VIDEO IS OLD but wanted to point out since I can't stop listening to them!

3:10 is my favourite part. Only because it's nice and slow and you can hear the melody in the background.
I returned to listen to it again and it still one of my favourite songs. I love the video, it brings a nesessary atmosphere and I especially love the parts where the screen becomes like an old recording from white-and-black television. I also really love how text and melody match each other. I don't know how describe it in more presice way, It's just really pleasant to listen to. Though it pain to sing it in one go X) It's really fast, even though when you listen to it it seems like it's not.

In the song she sings the corus like this:"my hearts hopeful for the light we'll be facing soon" But the last time she sings it she says it like this:"My hearts hopeful for the light you'll be facing soon " so that means that she won't be with them when they escape and maybe she is gone forever. Second thing, am I the only one who noticed that some parts of this song match up with the song that plays in the game when the time limit is almost up? I was just listening to it in the game, and it sounded so familiar...and then it clicked. Not to mention I heard a little execution music in the beginning, as well. So many hidden references!
