Great show guys! Love these episodes where you compare the sizes!! Got my sampler las calaveras and smoked the belicoso while watching this podcast! Thought the same needs a pairing.
I really liked that cigar.
Been smoking a lot of Rojas and Tatuaje. Thought you were gonna go into the Lomo de cerdo from tatuaje instead of smoking meats 😂
Comparisons are good as I tend to reach for the thinner versions of anything.
Yes definitely do more cigar head to heads on the sizes

i already bought a box of the '23 calaveras, eagerly waiting for them to get over shipping shock. lately ive been smoking a ton of lampert stuff. their 1593 oscuro is a sleeper.
Love the vitola comparisons, always interesting to see. It would be even more insightful if you knew what vitola was the base for the blend. Like KG of Warped is almost always blending from Corona, Melillo blends from Toro I believe... etc. Looking forward to the Mil Dias Topes. Last cigars I smoked that surprised me: BLTC Madonna Negra, everything Rojas, 7-20-4 (they did a special blend with Club Humidor in San Antonio, holy crap it was good) every 7-20-4 I pick up is a banger and nobody talks about them.... blows my mind. They have dogwalker sizes too. Also ready for the Cavalier Geneve new Inner Circle... the first one was super creamy but kind of levelled out a little early.
I'd like to see a Rothschild 4.5 x52 or a short Perfecto like the Hemingway short stories.
That would be a killer size!
As always, incredible show and thanks again as always for getting me to/from work safely :) Going to try out the Las Calaveras today at lunch at a local B&M and definitely looking forward to it! Question for you guys: I buy a LOT online from a local store and they have rewards I'm accumulating. At the end of the year, they expire and I'll likely have about $200+ in store credit. Any suggestions on a box to get? I know that's a generic and ambiguous question but wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions. I'm a big Plasencia, Aganorsa, La Palina, Foundation, and Arturo fan. Looking for something "new" to get. I've got boxes of the Plasencia Alma Fuerte and Reserva Original as those are my favorites, but looking again for something "new" and "exciting". Thanks in advance!
Dang that's awesome! I think I'd personally just load up on five packs if that was an option. To cover your favorites on the box side, I would probably go with Plasencia 149, Foundation Olmec, the new Tabernacle is supposed to be amazing, Aganorsa Validacion Corojo, or Aganorsa Aniversario Maduro Short Churchill. Those are all some of my favorites.

@@griffhowie543 had it during lunch today. It was phenomenal. Never had a chance to try the previous versions but this one was great. Super smooth and great as a broadleaf. I bought the sampler pack online so can't wait for that (supposed to be arriving today). As for the other purchases, I'll let you guys know what I go with but good thinking with the random 5 packs here and there. Really good suggestion.

Sounds like a decent enough cigar, but a little steep by the sounds of it.
I can honestly say this was my least favorite of all the releases. I was about to put it down and buy something else.
