Wonderful 💯.. This dashcam is very good but it's out of my budget.. Pls make video on RedTiger F7NP Dashcam.. It's a dual dashcam under ₹15K with Starvis Sensor.. After your review I will go for RedTiger F7NP
I have reached out to Redtiger via email. But they are not responding. Never sent any camera for review as well. So no high hopes of getting F7NP for review.
Hi thank you for the detailed video , yours video is the best one explained till date among all other's whichever I have ever seen. I do have a query, any service centers available in Bangalore? Is it made in China product ??? Hope it got ADAS features bcz you didn't show in the video, if its there can you provide the link to check the ADAS features
Hi....Thanks to your in-depth review of the A229 Pro I have purchased this for my car. What do you recommend for installation - should I do it myself based on your video or get a professional to do it? (VioFo customer care has provided some contacts for installation all across the city)
@@traveltechyoutube I bought A229 Thank you very much for suggesting. The reason to buy license plate readability till 20 feet, HDR. As per your all dashcam video samples i have observed Viofo is good. If anything missed out let me know. But I need your input which microsd fits for this dashcam. Currently its not available in Viofo. Can you share those details Please
If your priority is remote monitoring of your car, then thinkware t700 is the correct choice. But if your priority is to get the best available video quality and clarity, then A229 Pro is your dashcam.
Hey! Great video, explained everything really well 👏 I need a suggestion between the Pro & Plus version. Can we make out the difference between 4k & 2k in real life? I'm looking for a 3ch version, is it worth investing 10k more for the pro version? Wouldn't 2k be sufficient for evidence purpose?
Broadly speaking, you cannot make out the difference between 4K and 2K. But when zoomed in (to read number plates or nameboards or stickers) 4K makes a big difference. So yes, it is totally worth it to invest in 4K, unless your budget is very tight.
@@traveltechyoutube hey thanks for replying, really appreciated! 🫡 I could stretch the budget for the 4k version, the only issue being I am travelling about 700km the next week and I've been following viofo website for the past 10 days & the 4k 3CH is out of stock. I needed one on an urgent basis that's why was thinking to buy the 2k one as this one is in stock currently.
Subscribed. In this video at 14:22 you get live view in your phone while driving. Can you please explain how to get live view on phone while driving? Viofo says, mobile data canot be used to get live view on phone. Did you have a wifi hotspot of another phone to connect to wifi?
You don't need mobile data to get live view in phone. When you are in the car, you will be in the range of the dashcam's wifi hotspot. Open your smartphone's wifi settings and connect to the dashcam's wifi hotspot (enable hotspot in the dashcam settings). Once connected, open the VIOFO app and get live view on your smartphone screen. You cannot get live view if you are outside the car (beyond the range of dashcam's wifi hotspot), or if the dashcam is turned off.
Very well made video. I am confused between Wolfbox i17 and a229 pro TBH. Is it possible to make a comparison video of both. I know the rear cam in a229 pro is probably a clincher but the price difference is quite a lot. So am confused TBH.
Wolfbox hasn't mentioned what sensor and how many MP camera has been used for the front. There is a high chance that it's an upscaled 4K rather than a True/Native 4K resolution as provided by the A229 Pro. If you want to know the difference between the two, watch this: ua-cam.com/video/pv0Koho8ZLI/v-deo.htmlsi=s49WrldtNG3PGygZ I agree with the price difference factor though. I mean if your budget is very tight, you really don't have a choice then. Go with the i17. But if you can stretch your budget up, the A229Pro is the dashcam you should buy with your eyes closed.
Hi. I don't purchase these units. They are sent to me for review. I generally return them back after my work is done. Currently there are no dashcams for sale. I will update you if anything comes up.
Viofo A229 Pro sounds exciting and probably the best but it's almost twice the price of 70mai A810😭. Viofo A139 pro is identical in configuration to 70mai A810. The 3ch variant costs A229 pro almost 40k while 2ch variant costs 35k with additional parking wiring kit for 2.5k.🥲
Nice detailed review man
Glad you liked it 👍

Two questions:
1. Were the samples done with the default exposure (zero)?
2. Were you using a CPL filter?
1. Yes
2. No
Thank you for the very well detailed video. Quick question...does both the front and rear cameras have CPL filter out of the box?
No. Only front. But you can get CPL for rear separately.
@@traveltechyoutube Thank you for the prompt reply. If you don't mind, can you please give me a link?
Rear CPL is available directly from seller and not available on amazon. Contact on this number: 8160446485
Hi, well done review, can you tell me what sofrware you use to show in video record ftom all 3 cameras?
