Learn more about Italian Baroque Composer Antonio Vivaldi's life as both a Priest and a "celebrity" violinist whilst living in Venice, Italy.
Vivaldi's music drew tourists to the city during the 18th Century, no doubt a concert was a highlight of any trip to Venice! Throughout his life he was very busy, having composed between 400 and 500 violin concertos alone, including his most famous collection The Four Seasons!
Includes excerpts from Vivaldi's Violin Concerto in A Major, Allegro, RV 353 which La Serenissima was recording at the time for their upcoming album Forza Azzuri!.
Created by Adrian Chandler and La Serenissima for Key-Stage 2 children, this film has been made possible by a grant from @continuofoundation and with support from @artscouncilofengland during 2021.
