Get your catnip and scratching post ready, because in this episode of Game the Game we're playing Cat Lady from AEG! Guest host Ivan Van Norman is joined by Rachel Kimsey, Vince Caso, and Erika Fermina to decide who is the most devoted feline fan. Players must draw cards to collect cats along with food, toys, costumes, and other kitty accessories. Accumulate the most points to be the victorious Cat Lady!

No one but Ivan can turn a completely wholesome and innocent game about cat collecting into a disturbingly Lovecraftian whisper about your feline friends in the shadows.

Background music is way too loud
Cat Lady is so much fun! I love the artwork and the card drafting mechanic is so unique and well designed. I always feel a little bad when I’m not able to feed all of my cats though...
The point totaling at the end seems strangely heavy for how light the rest of the game is.
For those wondering, Ten Candles is a pre-recorded show currently streaming on Geek&Sundry's Twitch channel every Monday Night at 9:00pm PST.
It's a very intense 10 episode Horror "survival" RPG (viewer discretion warnings abound throughout each episode), featuring Ivan as the Storyteller and a group of 4 different guest players each week.
They are going into Episode 6 on august 26th. Subscribers can watch the previous episodes. No official word on whether it will be on UA-cam following the completion of the series, but given the pre-recorded format, it seems likely. :)
Not even four minutes in but Shadow Pumpkin would be a great cat name.
Note they're playing with the Cat Lady: Premium Edition which has the cut out tokens instead of the standard edition's gaming cubes. This also has a score pad. I bought this game for my wife for Christmas, it looks great! One thing I don’t understand, the tokens kinda just seem redundant. Why not just keep the food cards?
Its ease of food distribution on the cats for me. Especially if you have many cats

Something I've never understood about the rules is why you necessarily have to _move_ the cat token if you use a spray bottle, considering it just goes right back on the next turn - seems like it would be more efficient if you just ignored it for that turn. If you want to insist on having it moved, it seems to me like a much more interesting rule would be that the cat token stays where it is for the next player's turn, meaning not only can you get access to cards you normally wouldn't be able to, but you can also potentially lock the next player out of getting cards that they need. Spray bottles would be a lot more valuable and strategic that way.

Unless there are new rules, I thought and we have played you score on cats by color on solid white, solid yellow and solid black cats. If mixed colors, it is only their ability.
