We are thinking of coming here for 3 months in winter. What places would you suggest we should stay
You have the right idea - we do the same :) We love Bang tao if you want comfort and quality. It's slightly pricier than the rest of Thailand however it such a lovely place and the restaurants and bars in the area are very good :) Another lovely place is Nai yang slightly less discovered and 15 mins from the airport. We head there first to recuperate after the flights for a week and then head down. There is an amazing restaurant there called black ginger whic i share in one of my thailand vlogs and the area is just lovely. Will you stay in one place or try different islands xx

Thank for the video. I am planning on going to Bangtao and would like to stay close to beach and Boat Avenue ( walking distance between both). I want to be able to walk restaurants /care etc and don’t have to depend on taxi etc.

You are welcome! Amazing Bang tao is my favourite it is close to the beach and boat avenue we never get taxi's there and we stay in the Laguna. You are welcome :)
