Josh I want to thank you for taking us along and talking to us on your busy day. My daughter is working on a farm about the size of yours this summer for her college work study program. She is planning on working for Eustace at Turtle Island ( that's where we met you) next summer. We have a working homestead but she is planning on a bigger farming operation like you have. We love seeing how you are turning your brush land into beautiful well balanced grass land.Blessings from the Cline family

I have too many comments to keep this at a reasonable length. But, this was refreshing in a time of major chaos. It's good to know there is purpose and harmony somewhere in the world. Well done, Josh.

Anyone who thinks that a farmer's life is easy, has never worked a farm before. It is one of the hardest jobs ever. You sir are a true part of history that I hope never goes away. I have loved to watch all of your videos. Thank you for sharing your lives with our family. I have been watching you way back to everyone including your daddy killing hogs and processing the meat in the salt boxes to making sausage.

Great to catch-up on your older videos though and know I'm not the only one with 50 projects on his mind each day. Thanks again for spending so much of your effort sharing with the rest of us..greatly appreciated 👍

I brought a black shirt a few years ago that was of a material that made to keep your core cool. It worked very well. I mowed several lawns on the hottest day of the Summer. Took off the shirt and my chest area was cool ro the touch. Even after a day in the hot Sun.

That Seed Drill will make it easy for you to help your neighbors out by drilling down seed in their yards.
The other piece of equipment looks like a real rime saver for prepping the land for a goid seed bed.

Whenever I seed grass to bare soil I always seed a little oats with it. I find oats in the hulls retain moisture for fast germination and they grow faster then grass so it's also good biomass.

You just cut one of the Mrs. Stoney Ridge's Hydrangea flowers. My wife has a lot of hydrangea of different species. They are a great flower for North Carolina. They will change color depending on the amount of iron in the soil.

I don't live on my farm so everything has to be prioritized and planned:and the plan always changes.Had a good plan last Saturday to mow about 14 acres. Within first 10 minutes I blew a hydraulic hose on the mowers 1 cylinder and spent almost 2 hours rigging up a temp replacement hose with some hydraulic hoses I had for other equipment. So much for my plan to finish mowing....Monday I was at the hydraulic hose shop getting the hose and a spare made.Yesterday I was planning to pressure wash a building I need to paint. Had to move my Case loader landscaper and key switch I replaced last year crapped out.Double GRRRRRRRR! Back to waiting on parts;again.Plans are good when they work out. Not so good when they don't.

They make a product called cake that you feed to your cattle its like a inch wide and 3 or 4 inches long. Ranchers and farmers use it to feed cattle on the ground and cattle get used to you when you feed them by hand. I watch Our Wyoming life and the Kovarniks and they have videos of feeding it which might help you when moving your cattle. Always make the same call or sounds when you feed them. Love your videos wish I lived closer as I would come over to help you. I got a knee infection moving hogs out of the nursery and I didn't cut my jeans but when I got home 18 hours after I banged my knee up I realized that I had cut my knee when I pulled my foot out of my boot and my sock was full of blood. And the pigs had been sick and what ever they had I got and I get cellulitis all the time and I have been to Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn and I have tried everything I have gone septic 15x times in tbe last 3yrs but I haven't been in the hospital for a year now.

If you can keep Shade on the pond, from Trees or from whatever else, that's good to limit water evaporation. Plus it will make a nice area to hang out during the summer
Food for the Brain Mr Stoney Ridge
You have made so much progress since I started watching your channel about 6 months or so ago
Also, since you need a Camera handler, you probably should look into a college intern
You'll only need to room and board whomever that would be, plus maybe the price of a Ticket to travel back to where they came from
    You need a UA-cam Intern.
This would make a great experience for many young people about to graduate.
