I’m a maintenance guy so shark bites don’t take money away from me but I still dropped a couple grand on a pro-press. Miracle products don’t exist bud.
It’s also not any harder to just solder the thing. Just don’t have Parkinson’s, practice on a couple of joints, and take your time. The only reason I stopped soldering is it takes to long and prepping for an open flame sucks in the 100+ year old wall cavities I’m always in.
Yeah, Sharkbite get a bad rap in the industry, but they really are a good product. Most of the “failures” some plumbers love to show off are not even genuine Sharkbite brand.
Yep! There are over a dozen “push” brands out there that looks a lot like SharkBite Universal that are much lower quality and burst pressures. The new SharkBite Max is double the strength of their current product. It’s a beast!!!
Plumbers hate you, every plumber I have run across just hates SharkBite, and its because they take work away. keep it up I love SharkBite.
