Pachelbel - Canon In D is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Beauty that brings tears to the eyes played here with skill and sensitivity.
Well the original version is more fast but the most popular version is brutally sublime. i am totally agree with you that is one of tha most beautiful pieces of music ever written. it transport the soul and spirit to dimension of peace, easyness and calm. the melody transmit so mindfull peace that as you say you want to cry not for pain but because of feeling so well, so calm, so sure of the life is good and beautifull. I totally agree I had been playing the piano for four years now and still is my favorite instrument out of all the others!
As a 38 year old male who was born on a council estate and have lived a mediocre life with a regular job and 2.4 children i can understand culture and appreciate music a lot more than i used to, listening to beautiful piano playing like this makes me wish that i contributed my life just a little bit more to the arts and culture that we are blessed with.

When I started piano, I learned by ear. I followed the Suzuki curriculum, so I had to. Now I can both play by ear and read music, but learning by ear definitely helped a lot.

For 26 years I've heard this song repetitively in different covers and instruments, and I've played this as an exercise whenever I spend time with my piano.. this is the most entertaining and calming version I've seen and heard so far!

Growing up I was always teased about playing piano. I started when I was two years of age...I am now fifty. Never underestimate the power of the piano.
I still play from time to time, but mostly what I compose. The strange part is that I cannot read music and never had lessons. God gives each of us a certain blessing.

Playing piano is elegant in itself but he doesn't have an elegant style of playing.
His tecnique is quite poor... but he can definitely get better!

Anyway bethoveen is the best composer because composing songs like fur Elise while being deaf is just unhuman like
he wasn't born deaf, he had the understanding behind the music theory. After that point he didn't need to hear the music, he felt the music as he played it. It's still very incredible nonetheless
dwalters98 still he is deaf and composed awesome pieces. You and me and I'm pretty sure pachelbel cannot compose such pieces if we were deaf
