Fun fact about the Russian vehicles in this movie, it was filmed when getting those imported was impossible so they made them out of cardboard based off photos. The vehicles were so convincing the film team was intercepted by government agents questioning them on how they were able to get real Russian armor.

I really wish there were more movies like red dawn made. It was such a perfect vibe. The 80s-ness, scary alt-cold war universe, great action and sound effects, banger soundtracks that use a mix of synth and orchestra, top notch props especially given the circumstances, it would’ve been real cool if there were more movie set in a universe liek that.

WIC is a strategy game, but Homefront kind of goes somewhere completely different with it. Would love to actually get an "insurgency" America. Trying to support the army, and the sole goal is to wreak havoc on Soviet supply chains. Like the final mission or two of Homefront was cool, cause it actually felt more like you were supporting the army. Wish we could've gotten things like that for the rest of the game.
