Ugali is present in Zambia, tanzania, south africa, Zimbabwe Botswana,Namibia,southern somalia, south south sudan,southern Ethiopia, Mozambique,Uganda,Rwanda and Burundi?but the are called other names and cook a little bit diffrent in each country such as fufu in the west.
For the "ugali" it served as a starch with hundreds of accompaniments .
Be it beef/fish/ veges or dairy products, cooked in different forms depending on the likes & preference on the specific culture (tribe)
Kenya has character and mmmphhh

Another interesting fact is that every Kenyan comes to the cities for work and retreat back to village ( upcountry) where most parents live. Learn more about our school system and countrywide competitions like drama festivals etc( Kenyans are very competitive). Look for a video of Bomas of Kenya for cultural learning.
Ugali is eaten with beef stew, collard greens - cooked kenyan style, various wild greens, beans, fermented milk and others that I can't think of right now
The great people of Maasai are the few that have inherited and preserved their culture. For the others (42+,tribes) most have ventured into other ways of habitation
Ugali you eat with soup,beef,chicken either spicy or other kind of meet.We got different types of ugali,with cassava flour,corn flour or Millet flour then cook it thin.Also it can go with milk,or kales

Kenya is located in East Africa and has 42 tribes although the numbers have lately gone up to 45. The country has 47 counties and each county in headed by a governor with their administration. The tribes which I prefer to call nations can be classified into 3 groups, the Bantu speaking people, the Nilotes and the Cushitic.the Bantu originated from the Congo basin and includes communities like Kikuyu, Kamba, meru to mention a few. The Nilotes originated from the Nile valley and includes communities like the Luo's, the Maasai and Kalenjin to mention a few. The Kushitics includes the Somalis, Borana and Oromo to mention a few.
ugali is like bread made from maize flour or corn flour which is a bit coarse gluten free and healthy can be serve with anything just like bread

Ugali is amazing. But it has to be taken with fish, meat, sukuma wiki 😊.... That way it will slap as it should. You guys from your videos you are Kenyans. Please do a review of the Luo tribe (obama tribe) to know more about Ugali. Also do something on Khaligraph Jones the Artist you'll love it for sure.
