Idk if you will ever see this Leslie but I just want to say thank you for streaming for the past couple of days. I know you have a lot on your plate right now and life is a bit stressful with the whole move and everything. But just know that us Leslers are all cheering and supporting you through every decision you make. When you take time off from streaming we understand there’s other things going on behind the scenes. In fact sometimes taking a break leads to catching up together and that’s one of my favorite parts. It kinda feels like catching up with a friend you haven’t seen in awhile. Hello leslie, thank you for the stream. Here i put up a little bit of tips that might be useful while using the blue eyes deck, i hope this helps:
Leslie vs Ramee ( 3:08:16 )
When you want to activate 'Melody of awakening dragon' you are asked to discard 1 card ( 3:09:52 ) , and if you have a 'White stone of the ancient' in your hand, you could try to discard the 'White stone of the ancient so that you could activate its affect in the graveyard, and still keep 'Maxx C' in your hand. While this will disable the activation of 'sage with eyes of blue', you can still add 2 cards to your hand from the activation of 'Melody of the awakening dragon', and by the end of your turn you can also activate the effect of 'White stone of the ancient' in your graveyard, allowing you to special summon 1 blue eyes monster from your deck, also you can either normal summon 'Sage with eyes of blue' allowing you to add 1 light tuner monster from your deck to your hand or just keep it in your hand to use for the next turn.
The weakness about this move though is that you can only special summon by using 'White stone' at the end of your turn, so you coudn't have used the monster during the battle phase or use it to special summon monster from your extra deck during your main phase if you control no other cards on the field. But it's perfect to use during your first turn, as this won't affect your battle phase because you can't declare battle on the first turn anyway.
if you would do this move, i would advice to use the effect of 'Melody of awakening dragon' to add from your deck to your hand 1 'Blue eyes white dragon' and 1 'Blue eyes alternative white dragon' ( 3:10:06 ). That way, during your main phase you could special summon 'Blue eyes alternative white dragon' from your hand. Then you can set 'True light' and during your end phase you can activate 'White stone' to special summon from your deck 1 'Blue eyes jet dragon'.
One more thing that i would like to suggest is to activate the effect of 'Jet dragon' when it is being attacked like in ( 3:16:43 = although you could let Ramee monster attack your your 'Jet dragon' because it has lower attack point and will destroy itself, you could take advantage of that moment and activate 'Jet dragon' effect to bring his spell/trap card back to the hand, or other card your opponent control back to their hand )
You could also activate 'Jet dragon' effect when it attacked your opponent directly and target their spell/trap card like in ( 3:18:55 ) just to be safe.
P.s :
You should always activate the effect of 'White stone of the ancient', by the end of the turn it is sent to the graveyard, so you can special summon 1 blue eyes monster from your deck to the field. This effect can only be used on that turn at the end phase. The next turn, if you activate 'White stone' in your graveyard, you can only use the affect of adding 1 blue eyes monster from your graveyard to your hand. Just like what happened to Ramee in ( 3:16:56 )
But of course, whaf i said is only a smidge bit info of the deck, and if you want to know more about your deck and its combo, the best way is still if you play it yourself. I wish you the best and good luck Leslie
