They are so much fun. I like to provide small water bowls for the little tarantulas. They will collect them and use them as building materials. They get incorporated into the substrate. Of course, the water gets dumped. Actually, some of the big tarantulas will do it as well. If they can lift it and relocate it, they will.
Hi Patricia 😊 What you can do with the moss ball is to move it just a little to one side, so Spidey can gain access to the tunnel.. If she moves it again, you know that there is a plan with it there:) If not, her tunnel is now open for her:) Take care😊
Yeah good video she is a wonderful girl,we take em for granted sometimes probably same as we are moving her furniture around to make a change ,I like how mine put dirt water dish don't know why they tend to drink water through the dirt haha ❤❤
Aw thanks! I've never measured her but I believe I have a normal sized female hand (whatever that is) and she definitely fills my entire hand with her legs spread out
G/A Patricia. I really enjoyed this video. Yes it amazes me the positions I find my tarantulas in. Makes me wonder what were they thinking to do that. See you in a week.
I think my red knee tarantula rosita just vomited, she is standing on top of her water bowl and resting her front paws and there is something hanging out of her mouth it looks like a mushed up cricket like vomit, but maybe it is just part of the process? But I’ve had for about 2 yrs now and I never noticed this vomit before, I searched online and I can’t find a solid answer some websites say it could be nematodes a parasite that lives in spiders guts until it is thrown up if so what should I do? Maybe she ate too much, but I am only feeding her 1 to 2 crickets each week. Other sites said it is a normal part of the spiders process to eating? I don’t know what to do, do you have any advice for me please thank you! 💛💛💛🌅🌟🕷️🕸️💕💕💕also my tarantula rosita does similar to what yours does she has toys they are erasers and she loves to roll them around and leave teeth marks in them like a dog does with chew toys she has some figurines and she moves them around the enclosure she is so sweet and I hope she is okay and not sick.
I know I'm super late but the "vomiting" thing seems kinda normal? Hard to say without seeing a pic but I have seen Spidey kinda regurgitate her food just to continue munching on it

She did actually end up moving it herself I think lol.
