0:25 That little manual was super sick, looks like the trail flows so well! I liked it even more than the longer manual after it because it was just a true, fun representative of what mountain biking on that trail would feel like.
Will, I heard they bulldozed the gulley? :( And there is a "freeride zone" which "never opened"..... I have a work do up that way in a month or so, will bring the bike and have a look- been a couple of years since I last mucked about there. But gulley was where it was at and now it sounds like it's hard to find much to session at Swinley.. Keen to hear your thoughts!
Hey Oliver! Yup the gulley is long gone, i never even got to ride it! They also had a freeride area that never opened and has now been turned into a practice area exclusively for people who have payed for coaching from the bikehub i believe (you're not allowed to use it unless you're being coached) 🙄 personally i haven't been back there in a long time because i rode some unmarked trails there once and got a email from the forestry commission threatening legal action, so decided i'll no longer be giving them my money or advertising. However it's still got some good XC loops if you're in the area, but nothing remotely technical anymore. Hope that helps :)
@@willgreenfield That does help, thanks. Corroborates what I have read trawling forums and looking at the Hub website etc. They do talk about a "freeride area" near "red 20 clubhouse" though, as being distinct from the "coaching only" zone..?? Seems to be up to date info. No idea what they mean by clubhouse. They say it's around the mid point if Red, which was where the gulley was located. I'll have a look around as will be in the area with time to spare. Looks like the labyrinth area trails are still there so that's something at least.. and maybe if I look hard enough I might stumble across some other more interesting stuff. Big shame about the gulley. It was a great place to be creative. Really appreciate your response. Hope the shoulder is healing well, look forward to some more content soon. Keep up the momentum, Will - you are up there with the best to watch!
John Martin Thanks John, glad you like them! Normally we either just explore and pray we find some cool stuff, or ride with friends who know their way around :)
Hey Ewan, can be down to a couple different things...like your chain being too short, or if your mech gets hit by an obstacle and the hanger either snaps due to the impact, or your mech gets hit into your spokes and the force of that rips your mech and hanger clean off! Not fun :/
Will Greenfield yeah bro, one of the reasons I really enjoy them it's because of the pure bike sound, not like other youtubers, if you are watching bike related videos, u supposed to listen the bike sounds too, not music
Hk8 Kl7 To be honest, we've got completely different styles... i'm more casual (normally jeans and an unbranded t shirt) and hes more chic/trendy in his riding attire. Both decent styles, just very different! I do prefer broccoli though :/
Damn didn't think he'd do the gap on the rollers. gnarly one bois
Haha expect the unexpected! Thanks man :)

Sweet video. Trails look ace in that weather.

Yeah man Swinley has some really fun stuff! :)

You should do a vid where u explain, or give tips about, camera settings or how to shoot slow motion etc.
Thanks Tom! Ah thats a good idea, could be cool to try at some point!
I'd love to ride with you guys in swinley :P

Looks like fun!
It was indeed! :)
Been watching loads of your videos they are great ! How do you find all those different trails? ✌️
John Martin Thanks John, glad you like them! Normally we either just explore and pray we find some cool stuff, or ride with friends who know their way around :)
Thanks ! Will Greenfield
what is it that causes that hangar break , same thing happened to me breaking spokes I'm baffled to know , cheers
Ewan Duerden when you land the bike the chain bounces which causes the rear mech to move side to side try using a short cage rear mech

Well the combination geforce and chain getting tighter is my guess.
How wide are the bars on the silver bike?
On Zac's Knolly they are 780mm :)
Been up SF every week for a few months now. How do you get so much air???
Dry trails, a little extra speed, and a little extra boost! That should do the trick :)
how can you get so smooth zoom in and outs?
I use a 18-105mm 'power zoom' lens from Sony :)
Little bit of a noob when it comes to cameras, powet zoom: is it a button on the lens that controlls tje zoom?
There is a zoom trigger yep, very helpful with controlling the speed of the zoom etc :)
Awesome man! Thanks for replying 👍
Around the 4 minute mark what is that trail they are riding?
I'm pretty sure we were on 'babymaker' at that point!
decided not to send the wilkins leap then? reckon you would've had it, and Zac just made it look too easy ha
Didn't think it was too smart on a frame thats cracked in 2 places haha!
true haha good point, and 2 places?! thought it was only 1
Yeah she went again on the same bit of tubing but on the opposite side... not good :(

Grammar is the spice of life
This could not be England, it is dry and dusty. 😒 Greetings from Germany. 😊
