Based on a lot of her attitudes towards the sport, Tutberidze seems a lot like the Balanchine of the skating world - producing a lot of talented, passionate skaters, but expecting sky high standards and being very hard and regimented on most of them. I don't know if drug use would be something that she would've permitted or encouraged, but who knows. That being said, I think Kamila should have been allowed to recover, and that many of the people watching her shouldn't have been as critical of her as they were. It was a mistake that had consequences for her career, but she was still a child, and I certainly think a lot of the adults in her circle were partially responsible, whether through direct involvement or failure to act. She has so much talent and I hope that she's able to do better in the future.

After this all situation her couches rather said nothing to Kamila or reacted coldly Some people say that Kamila did her olympics program bad on purpose, because if she won gold other Russian athleted would get no medals at all, and due to Kamila's bad perfomance Russia won gold 💞🇷🇺 Pressure from journalists also affected Kamila's condition Камила покорила сердца всего мира! @@laurelkendun anybody correct me if i get anything wrong, but as far as im aware she was super drugged for a competition, it came to light and disqualified the whole russian team which put her on blast for a shit ton of hate from all over. moreover, she was only 15 at the time, so its almost certain she was forced or at least coerced into it. her coaches are extremely controlling as well, so she probably couldnt have said anything about it even if she wanted to, the poor thing. edit: at this point, you see clips of her in NONE of which you can tell she genuinely enjoys the sport anymore. you see her coaches speaking to her and as she listens none of the light that you see in a child is left in her eyes. its so heartbreaking to see somebody suffer through trauma in real time. i really do hope she finds a way to love what she does again, its the least she deserves. _and take this with a grain of salt but the doc for the russian team specializes in REVIVING clinically dead people. so in the case of an OD... but thats just rumors._

But there was a big deal about it and debate on whether she could continue skating in the competition; eventually they decided she could (which I think is wrong; cheating is cheating). However, likely due to all of the media and pressure on her because of the situation, she performed horribly in the final skating competition and fell multiple times. It was sad to watch as she was Russia’s “star figure skater” and only 15. But in the end, whosever fault it was, I think she should not have been allowed to compete and the whole situation definitely took a toll on her

From the sounds of the comments I am assuming something else was going on and it’s not her fault? I didn’t look into very hard but a lot of people are commenting like she did nothing wrong so I’m not sure the full story or if she was like set up or something. If someone knows the full story feel free to correct me.

After watching this video and reading some commentary on posts about her, and about her personal life i was alerted because she is in serious trouble from trauma from that whole situation, now February 2024. Kamila is a lonely child without sisters or brother to talk to, she has only her mom at home, and the mom is an adult that she cannot talk to like a sibling. So I'm thinking she is a very fragile area now and she can simply be totally broken. kindly advice people on social media to take care about approaching her. After all she is human child, before being an athlete or anything else. people should encourage her to be a fighter and stand back and fight, what's done is done. particularly after the recent decision

At the time of the interview she didn’t even know if she would be allowed to compete ever again due to the huge doping scandal surrounding her. She probably felt so traumatized by the whole media circus and having no adults around her to support her or help at least coach her with her answers. The same adults that put her in this position in the first place failed to stand by her when she needed most. She’s such a talented girl who lost so much due to scandal and betrayal by her own coaches who were supposed to protect her from all this.
