- We got a new vacuum last year. About 8 to 9 months ago and we were very happy with it until one day it just shut off and never turned back on. We cannot go without a vacuum for very long and after the initial inspection of the old one, we decided we needed a new one. We were pretty upset about this because we usually get more time out of our vacuums than 8 to 9 months even with hard use. We went with a Eureka Power Speed. We were able to score this on sale which is what first drew me to the link on Amazon. It has over 9,000 reviews and is sitting at a 4.3 in stars. So far, the best parts about it are that it is lightweight, the container is extra large, and it is a little taller than the last one we had. My favorite part about our old one was that it was compact and lightweight making the stairs a breeze. So, that was an important aspect to what the new vacuum had to offer. This one is a little more boxy and bigger as seen side by side, but there isn't much weight difference to them. This particular vacuum can change if you are on bare floors or carpet and the handle comes off to use as part of the wand. The handle part is probably my least favorite part and I explain why in the video. It also is bagless and it has a filter that can be removed and cleaned. One of the things I found on the reviews is people said it is loud and I don't feel that it is any louder than any other vacuum that we have owned. We always look for something that people have said good things about when it comes to picking up dog hair because that is why we have to vacuum so often, the dogs just shed away. Either way, it was a good value for the money. When we looked it up this morning, the sale was over, but I am sure it will drop in price again sometime or else it is $69.99 regular price. I enjoy the instant gratification I get from vacuuming. Especially, when the see-through container shows all the filth it has sucked out of one’s carpet, etc.

Very smart on not paying a lot of money for a vacuum. I have a similar model vacuum as you and it works way better than my $225.00 Hover. Thanks for the fun and honest videos. You guys rock!

Gomez is adorable. My sister and mother have a roomba. My sister quit using hers because the pet hair stops it up and she said cleaning it was more of a hassle than vacuuming. My mother's had a self emptying docking station. She had issues as well. I don't think they can handle pet hair just dirt. Hope you have a great week
