Watching the video makes me feel emotional when air travels reduced in a large scale. My last flight was almost two years ago and it was on CX from BNE to HKG. Sigh and cry. Really love the beautiful video though.
Just think, at the time this song was being played nonstop on every radio & CathayPacific was using it as it's theme song, I was just in 6th grade & just starting out on the journey of my life :)

Genius!- I remember flying back to h.k. as a small boy from SYD-HKG in 1987 with Cathay on board a 747 -200 and this theme came on still with the airbridge still open .

Here is one girl who was a stewardess and it was indeed a dream that I lived. It was also very hard work but great flying all over the place! My boyfriend at that time was a Pilot with Air Canada. We made great friends with our crews and had amazing stories to share! You would've been great doing that job! ❤

I apologize for mistakenly stating that it was a dash 800. It was indeed a dash 900. The dash 800 never went into service and replaced by the dash 900, 900 ULR and the 1000.
