    I bought a silhouette cameo 4 for about $180(vinyl cutting that cuts 12” by 10 feet) but sold my old one so only really payed $60 for it. Got some $10 good quality Heat transfer Vinyl and then used a household iron and this in total cost about $200 and it works great have made 3 times my money back, so u don’t need a $500 cutting machine and a $700 heat press;)

    Great video ... How does the design hold after a few wash and what would be the drying process

    • @johnxsantos
      @johnxsantos  4 роки тому +17

      That's the best part, once you press it and peel it, the process is complete and ready to be worn! Designs hold up great after many washes. It truly is comparable to screen printing, without having to mess with inks.

    • @romanriannpausch
      @romanriannpausch 4 роки тому +9

      @@johnxsantos It is actually not comparable to screen printing :) . Vinyl tends to crack after a while, screen printing will hold on for years (if properly printed & cured). Although, the biggest advantage of the "heat-press + vinyl + vinyl cutter" combo is that you can start your business with almost no budget and skills. However, you are limited to just simple vector graphics - with screen printing you can print gradients, photos and in addition, the print will feel much better. Screen printing is also very rentable and time saving when doing large orders - 20+ pieces.
      Just to sum up:
      - heat-press + vinyl + vinyl cutter combo is great if you have a limited budget and you are the beginner
      - screen printing is a necessity if you want to run your business on the professional level

    Been doing this for quite a few yers now, a set up could be picked up for way cheaper then $1,000 in eBay, don’t forget that Vynel, pick tools, teeshirts, Vynel remover, and wayyyyy way more goes in to making shirts. You do not necessarily need to use a Teflon sheet all the time also dude, and masks go for $2 on eBay and black teeshirts go for around $2.50 in eBay as well, that site you’re advertising sell teeshirts for $10 each and masks for around $6.80 each. Not profitable at all at those prices bro. But hey good luck to those that will follow your lead. Besides that the video was somewhat informational for those starting out.

    Yes Joe but to produce an order of even over 50+ takes forever! Is it great for 5 shirts here & there? Absolutely but to mass produce it's not realistic.

    What brand T’s have you had the best luck with? As far as the transfer setting into the fabric? And are the a 100% cotton or a 50/50 blend?
    Just subscribed BTW. Thank you, great video, direct and concise and NO fuckin loud shitty music! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Can I buy the shirts without labels and tags? Ive been looking for shirts that are empty on the inside so I can put my own brand name inside.

      you can get tear away tags on your blanks and you can get sewn or plastisol printed tags to replace it with your logo.
