Hi Andrew. Always good to see you. At the start of the video, I said to my Wife "How about that then, That's a lot quieter" Thank you so much for that 👍 Take care.
Always amazed me when you dug out what look like rubbish but with your knowledge and explanation suddenly becomes beautiful part of history. Great video mate 😊
Thanks again Professor, for bring us on another adventure. Some great finds and always learning something new from those finds. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👍👍👍🤜🤛
Interesting way of detecting Andrew, using the ropes as a guide, I’ve seen a bloke from the UK make a grid pattern of squares and he’d approach from six different sides, Interesting finds mate well done 👍
Some nice bits coming out for you Andrew courtesy of the Manticore + Mate. Enough area there to keep you happy for a long time to come.Ropes are a good way of making sure all the ground is covered.Yes, those pesky rivets sound so good you just have to dig them. Another great video and catch you on the next one.Cheers.
Gday Gary. There are still a couple of adventures to be had there. Just been using the ropes of late. Just helps to keep the concentration on your swing pattern. Wouldn’t use them all the time. Ahh the rivets. You would never not dig one. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 😁👍
Perfect Sunday morning viewing with a cuppa Andrew!! Love the cufflink, collar stud & buckley thing. Not something I’ve ever done, roping out & gridding, but it definitely went well mate! MASSIVE thank you for the shout out….very unexpected & very much appreciated!! You probably still have one vid to come before Xmas, but just in case, a HUGE Merry Christmas to you & Viv! You take care you lovely couple!!
Gday Marcus. A lot of interesting stuff comes up there. You wouldn’t do the ropes on your permissions. They’re too big but if you did a small section it just helps you to see where you’ve done. That’s fine about the shout out. Just funny that we both mentioned each other in this week’s videos. Yep still got one to go. You have a great Christmas too with your family and friends. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Such a deadly combo the Manti, the M8 and the CBK!! Man I say it all the time… but if we see it in an Op shop we would think it’s trash… but when we find it we think it’s awesome treasure. I ❤ the leaf and the grape items!! Another great video. Thanks for taking us on your adventures Andrew. All the best, Camille
Gday Camille. I hadn’t put me in the combo but thanks🤣🤣. The leafy things were a surprise to see. Great detail in them. Glad you came along. Take care mate 😁👍
Good work with the griding. I’ve often thought about doing that at a spot to really give it good once over. Some interesting finds as always. Great work buddy 👍👍
Gday Ant. Don’t do it that often only on sites I want to really clean up on. It does keep you focused on where you are swinging. Thanks for watching. Take care fellas 😁👍
That site looks so good so many options. I like that leaf and grape thingy. Never seen one of those collar studs before. That's awesome that little buckle has the fabric still in it. Oh wow that cufflink is cool. Some great find Andrew can't wait to see what else ya get great video once again good sir 😀
Gday Gadzee. It does have a lot of options to it. Good lot of personal items coming out. Brings the human side of the story with it. Glad you enjoyed watching. Take care mate 😁👍
I really enjoyed coming along on this trip, you didn't find any coins on this occasion but some interesting relics come to light. Merry Christmas to you and family 🌲🥂 Take care mate 👍👋😀 Tony
some nice finds, love artifacts, noticed in a previous video someone mentioned can't always hear you, i agree have all volume up full still struggle especially with background music, do like to hear you ramble on, i also have aging hearing grrr lol, anyhoo cheers from from Warragul
Not something i would recommend Darren, Dont risk ruining your vision, theres a good reason i avoid mirrors, Im sure it wrecks your eyesight, In fact I know it does, when ever i accidently look in one, I see this old bloke in it, that resembles a skeleton with skin, its frightening! Save yourself and look away! Cheers Mate!
Now that was an amazing hunt. Not sure the doctor can help with those feelings of yours my friend. Interesting wildlife audience commenting int he background from time to time. I love cufflinks. But you found all kinds of interesting bits and bobs
Gday Nathaniel. Don’t think I will go to the doctor. It is a handy thing to have in your kit. Not everyone has a tingly feeling they use for detecting. We do have a great amount of bird life out in the bush. Mostly just small stuff there but they are interesting bits. Merry Christmas. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
A definitely interesting location! Might the cactus be American in origin? The round, lightly domed silver thing, definitely the surrounding that seals the domed glass of a pocket watch, the imperfect circle part allows for where the hinge goes, and the opposite side indent, the catch for the closing of either a fully closed (full hunter), or cover with a partial opening, (half hunter) so some of the hands is visible without having to flip open the cover. Raspberry rather than blackberry metal foliage? Unsure still what it'd have decorated though. Anyhoo, happy Saturnalia, Andrew & Viv!
Gday Gabi. Don’t know where the cactus originated from. Always a lot of it around the old sites in the gold fields. Reckoned the piece was off a watch. Great info. In my mind I was trying to make the fruit look like grapes so there you go😂. All the seasons best to you too 😁👍
Great video until you started giving the one finger salute in the wrap up. Any way, the piece of harvesting equipment you found is a finger off a grass mower. They are also used on open front headers to this day. They were phased out for cutting grass in the late 1970's early 1980's. Those rivets you find are made of copper and copper is worth more than $9 a kilo at the moment. Cheers John
Gday John. It was a small piece of farming equipment that I would not have expected to find in a place like that. Maybe I should take all the rivets and cash them in. Certainly do add up. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 😁👍
G'day Andrew, Why im sure I dont know what you mean! I always behave myself, Hey and what's this stuff about concentration wayneing, Thats a bit rough, regardless of how true it is! This is where i say, Harumpf, and storm off in a Huff! Have you ever driven a Huff, I hav'nt! Maybe I should say, Storm off in a Subaroo instead. And now that ive chucked a wobbly, ILL HAVE TO REWATCH YOUR HUNT AGAIN! because ive forgotten quite a bit. But I will return, Ive just got to go and thank someone for a for a wonderful feed of taco's, And wash my face, theres sauce everywhere!
Gday Wayne. Haha I didn’t pick up on the concentration Wayning🤣. Just thought I would give you a little shout out. A few folk who know you got a laugh. It is always great to have you along with us mate. There would be something missing if you weren’t there. Take care mate and happy Christmas 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid G'day Andrew, Well as you would have noticed I didn't return, as I said I would. On returning the plate from my meal, conversation ensued and I ended up wondering back to my car to crash out, And no I dont live in my car, Its just where I sleep when im visiting, Im just doing a bit of property tidying for the family of my recently lost cousin and best Mate. And to tell you the truth, Im pretty much done in, Last day today, and ill be heading home after lunch. To house sit for a month for my brother. When my heads a bit more awake I'll revisit this vid again, but at the moment im just not up to my usual mental instability. but just two things before I go, That little collar cuff, To me it looked like four fingers and a thumb, or were the other fingers broken off. Just curious! And thanks for the shout out, Im even more chuffederer than I was the other time. Thanks Mate. Oh! and just in case I dont see you again before XMAS, Merry Christmas to you both, For a wonderful year of detecting and excellent company. Cheers!.

Interesting way of detecting Andrew, using the ropes as a guide,
I’ve seen a bloke from the UK make a grid pattern of squares and he’d approach from six different sides,
Interesting finds mate well done 👍
Just helps to keep you on track Jim. If it was a gold patch you would swing in more directions but that was fine for there. Take care mate 😁👍

Hi Andrew, ths leaf looks like a blackberry leaf with a couple of blackberries on the end of it. Regared Lindsay (South Australia)
Wasn’t quite sure what they were but the work in them is amazing. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
No inhalation on the silver bangle thingy? Some very interesting items mate, all the best next time
Gday Guy. No there wasn’t. I will do it on something more definite next time. 😁👍
Merry Xmas Andrew , hope you finish off the year with some silver.
Thanks Paul. That would be good. Merry Christmas to you too 😁👍
The curtain hook looks more like an army belt hook..Google WW1 tunic belt hook....and the pulley is a window pulley...which I'm guessing you'd know😊
I will check that out. Makes more sense as I only found one not multiples. Thanks for the heads up 😁👍

Thanks for watching. The seasons best 😁👍
Thanks for sharing, if that was a gem stone collar stud, is it worth taking home some dirt and panning to see if the gem fell out?
Gday Jeff. That is not a bad idea. Thanks for watching. Merry Christmas to you and yours 😁👍

I have been “thorough” in the past, but have never literally gridded. But remember, Andrew, there is no “D” in OC!
Haha. Thanks for watching Dug. Have a great Christmas mate 🦘🦘😁👍

In what years would there of been a house and life there
I reckon late 1800s by the date of the coins I have found there. I think nothing later than Vicky coins. 😁👍
