Tip: once supersonic,(Fastest speed possible) you don’t need to use any more boost. Hope this helps!
If you don’t mind, I have a few tips. 1, I see that you use lots of ur boost almost instantly, you should try conserving boost unless you really badly need to be there that second. 2, is that when you use all your boost instantly you go really fast, which is hard to control and maintain possession of the ball. 3, try to keep possession of the ball, just because you can hit it really hard doesn’t mean you should unless you are close to the goal and shooting it, because if you hit it very hard then the ball is basically theirs. 4, try to mostly hit the ball forward, don’t try to do anything you can’t do, that’s what training packs a for, so that you can go into a game and use those skills, if you are just very direct and just simply hit the ball and move it up the field, you can score way more times than you do right now. Lastly, don’t thrust right at him and hit the ball, it’s easy for him to just move the ball to the side and score, stay in front of him and wait for them to make a mistake, he will eventually make one, no one is perfect. If he doesn’t after a bit try to take it. I hope this helps you get to plat, like I am currently 😊

Main thing is that for a low rank you just need the fundamentals, unless you have mastered aerials, I wouldn’t recommend you do them.
This channel is a new thing for me, like, i only see pro's channels that makes road to (insert high rank like GC or SSL), but i really like that i can get to see this type of roads from lower ranks, I hope to see you progress a lot in this game.
Okay, a couple tips for you would be;
1. You seem boost hungry after kickoffs, so you should head back to your goal(if it goes to your side and the opponent has control over the ball)whilst collecting boost pads along the way
2. When you’re going supersonic, you should stop boosting because you don’t get faster over tim if you hold boost. So when you see trail marks behind your car, stop boosting when racing to get the ball
3. You might want to work on fast aerials(just a good thing to learn early on)/aerials in general. Wayton Pilkin has a great aerials tutorials from beginner to advanced.
Bonus tips: basic positioning would probably be good to learn. You seem to challenge when your opponent has control, so my tip. Wait. Just wait.
These are just some tips and I hope they help. Spookluke is another recommended person. He will improve your playing as well as these too.

You are doing great man, if you ever want someone to play with, just ask, also, some advice, just keep on thinking of new ways to move, and new ways to make your current movements towards and with the ball better, and that will help a lot!
I’ve played this game for so long and it’s crazy to see the smurfs still saturate all ranks. Good job keeping your cool but neither the second or third opponent were silver players. They were both at least diamond level 1s maybe much higher depending on how bad they’re sandbagging.

best tip i have: i just got from silver 3 to gold 1 with this tip so pretty much just do a side flip on kickoffs and you will land faster

My best advice for you is to go into training and try and control the ball going anywhere on the field as fast as you can. The goal is to get better consistency when moving at faster speeds and also better accuracy and reaction times so you don't panic and conceed goals as much. doing this pretty much got me all the way to champ 2 where i am now

Hey man! I would like to tell you things about gold: wait for your opponents and teammates to mess up, which gives you more time to react. Shadow defense. Go for kick offs(if 1s) and practice your game cense and mechs. Not that it matters, but I’m good and I can air dribble and flip reset musty (don’t practice these just maybe air dribble). Custom training packs will be useful. If all goes well, you will surpass me!

Keep up the good work man! Just hit play 3 in solos myself. Try to focus on tapping power slide as your landing to keep your momentum up and instinctually recover better! Can't wait for more content
Keep the consistency and don't forget to train on power shots it's the key to win in silver-gold matchmaking and even in plat (I'm plat) it's commendable and important.
try to jump and double jump forward(also forward and right or left in the same time) since it will give you speed when you are out of boost.

a quick tip for u is that once you get the trail behind your car you go super fast and don't need to use boost. Once the trail runs out going fast requires boost again so you can save it

i recommend playing 2s, i used to do the same thing as you when i first started and i was hardstuck gold in ones because i just kept banging th eball without intent. he taught me about backpost rotations and old me to balances ones and twos. after only a year, im somehow champ 3 queing with him on our gc rank up today. at the end of the day tho, do whateever makes you happy

My tip for a better kickoff is hold the boost button while you do a sideflip

Hey bro good gameplay, I’m peak champ 2 and I want to give a couple quick tips, don’t focus too much on fancy mechanics once you hit plat and focus on improving your accuracy and rotations and overall gamesense that will help you hit higher ranks faster but good job either way

Quick thing - I’m barely three minutes into the video, and i’ve noticed you tend to back off on some shots (especially challenges when the other player is coming near you). Instead of turning, use the reverse pedal to slow down (or don’t use it at all) and get to a point where you can aim the ball away from your opponent. ( 2:34 )
Something that would also INCREDIBLY help you is increasing your ball control. Just on the ground, I wouldn’t suggest air roll until plat or diamond. Watch a couple dribbling tutorials and get a couple flicks under your belt. My personal favorites (I’m a gold, take this with a grain of salt) are just general directional flicks (front, side, etc) along with a 45 degree flick.
The hardest part dribbling is actually using it in a game. The easiest time to get a dribble is just whenever the ball is rolling towards your car. From there, you can catch it with the side of your car or the nose.
Dribbling and car control take a WHILE to learn. It took me about an hour and a half of free play to even get the ball on my car for ten seconds.

When you hit the ball, always front flip into it for more power. If you backflip when you hit the ball, you wont be able to keep up with it and it wont have as much power.

Bit of advice here for you, if youre going supersonic theres no point holding down your boost. Just hold down accelerate and boost a little bit when turning. Great video :3

you can def reach plat. but on the first kickoff you went for ball over boost and the opp could of scored so dont go for boost on kickoff and atleast get small boost. the only reason the opp didnt score is because he was buggin idk. also if you are going super sonic ( the lines beside your car ) you dont have to boost .
Your really good for your ranks but here are some tips. 1 you don’t have to use your boost right when you get it, 2 don’t chase the ball the whole game, finally make sure your in free play a lot to practice and get better. Keep up the great content and stay consistent!❤ if you want to we could play some 2s and I might be able to help you get better

We need to see a road to bronze in rocket league. Even better, a SSL trying to get bronze from unranked.
As a diamond 3, I’ll try to give you some tips here so you can hopefully rank up soon:
1. After a 1s kickoff, you should pretty much never go for big boost, as it takes you completely out of the play
2. You should stop boosting once you hit supersonic (that little trail appears behind you), as then you can’t go any faster, even if you keep boosting
3. Don’t back off when you’re defending in 1s, for example at 4:18, you should start to shadow defend (“shadow” the attacker’s movements and keep ahead of him) and then put in a challenge when you can
I disagree with the first tip, you should try and take the ball with you to the side grab the big boost and then hit it towards the opponents goal
@@Duckt1le correct, but in this case (1:40), he loses the kickoff so the opponent can pretty much just run it straight towards his goal if he leaves the play

i actually played rocket league for a few years but could never rank up cuz of my camera settings they were at default and once I started using my friends and zens settings (I switched like every week) and a year later I got gold! a few months later I am now plat 1

I am gold 3 and try improving aerial mechanics, I started training them in silver 2 and they pushed me up to gold 1 - 2 so then I was training air dribbles and kuxir pinches so I ended up to gold 3.
I can help you for 2s cause im plat 1 and i can speedflip and stuff
