Scott's Adventures - Critical Mass Bike Ride - Los Angeles - LACM

Scott and Lilly took a drive up to Los Angeles to participate in a fun bicycle ride called the Los Angeles Critical Mass LACM bike ride. It's a semi-organized free event that occurs the last Friday of each month. Hundreds of bike riders follow a couple of cars with flashing lights on a 20 mile ride through the city. Y'all have lead cars? That would be nice here in Houston, we have about 1000+ bikes with no lead cars. Every Thursday night, so traffic isn't too bad usually.

We have 2 lead cars, 2 rear cars and a side safety marshal assists in the group ride.

@@Eridela Ironically after I commented about not having lead cars, we had an incident with a car trying to drive through our group. It resulted in some bike riders attacking the car. Well, now we have a police escort, which is pretty cool. We had a couple of knuckleheads who joined the ride and were doing dumb stuff like riding in the wrong lane into oncoming traffic, etc. The police actually arrested them and the ride has been alot more safe and calm since.
