This was so cool! Thank you for sharing the whole process. I’ve always loved rainbow chard and I plant it more for its beauty than for eating. It’s out in the garden still, under a fresh snow. Some of the leaves are visible and the colours are even more beautiful against the white. I just love your work!
I think your colours are beautiful with the blue and green together. Thank you for sharing the process. It is interesting to see how patient you have to be with this technique. There’s also quite a risk, I imagine! Seeing all of this has helped me to appreciate the art so much more. ❤
As others have commented these are brilliant. The level of detail is amazing. I didn’t realise that it takes as long to fully create the prints. They look wonderful in the mount. If you make your own, mounts how about a video on that. Sorry if you already have! Good luck with the launch.
Thank you very much! Yes the drying time between layers can really draw out the process! I do make my own mounts and people have often requested that video, I always assumed it would be a bit boring to watch but I'll give it some thought, thank you!
Oh I love Pegasus. I had a temp job just down the road from it last year, and accidentally spent many lunch breaks and much money in there over the that time! I hope your lovely dog is ok.
I love (to eat) Swiss Chard. It's one of my favorite foods ever. To your art... I have such massive mad respect for the amount of fussiness that wood engraving entails and the amount you put into it. Add your creative touch and the results are so impressive. I have taken a look at your website a few times and I'm sad to say I likely won't ever buy anything from you merely because of the complications with buying overseas (from the US). But man, I love that you share your process with us on UA-cam. I'm definitely a keen fan of your work.
Thank you for your lovely comment! When it comes to international shipping I actually send around 40% of my prints to the US as I have many customers over there, I've never heard of any issues from my customers but if you let me know what you're concerned about I can ask a friend I post orders to regularly what the deal is with accepting parcels from the UK etc. Thanks again for your kind words!
@@maegpye My shipment of 4 packs of cards and 3 advent calendars all the way to Alaska arrived very swiftly and I didn't have to pay any duty fees. Just picked it up at the post office. Go for it!!😁
I asked a US customer and he says they've never had to pay fees (he's ordered over 20 times) so hopefully that would mean you wouldn't have to either! I hope that helps!
Well done for challenging yourself - I think the prints have worked beautifully! I’m currently wrestling with a four block Lino print which is very far from my comfort zone, and it was very useful to see how you layered the colours!
@@JanetFriel-cn9cz hi Janet! Thank you! Oh that does sound like a challenge! At least you can try different colour combinations with your multiple blocks (assuming reduction isn’t involved)! I’m sure you’ll manage it and if it doesn’t quite live up to expectations at least you’ll learn a lot for next time! 🥰
Watching a master printer at work, in such detail, is a great privilege. Thank you for making such insightful videos and for sharing your knowledge.
You're so kind, thank you! I definitely don't feel like a master printer but I hope to be one day! Thank you for taking the time to watch!

Oh wow! Yes I can imagine it looks amazing against the snow! I'm impressed by your green fingers!

Aw thank you Kay!
It’s absolutely beautiful-the colours are perfect and so attractive so I am sure they will be snapped up! ❤👏👏👏
Aw thank you so much!
Gorgeous, lush colours. Always a joy to watch your videos.
Thank you so much!
Fascinating video overall. I especially enjoyed the up close shots of you mixing and rolling the ink. 😋 I’m glad Winnie is feeling better. 🐶
Thank you Jennifer! That's an idea for a relaxing video... ink mixing!

Thank you Pauline! Yes patience is key! And you're right it can all go wrong with the reduction technique right up until the last minute! Eek!
It looks fantastic!! Loved seeing the different layers and the process.
Thank you Carolyn!
This is absolutely stunning!
Thank you Anne!
I love them!
Thank you 😀
@mollylemonart Your work is so inspiring - really wonderful. Please tell Winnie hello and happy she is feeling better now.

@@mollylemonart I guess I worry I'll have to pay some kind of duty upon pick up, and if so, how much it would be.
