Hello, 2 questions if you don't mind, 1) Can you mount a trimmer head on this SRM-410U and if so, will it accommodate the thickest string trimmer line that is 0.170"? 2) How does the circular blade handle rocks? Does it get chipped and damaged right away or it tends to bounce off them within reason? Thanks!
I'm interested in the ECHO SRM-410U Brushcutter but with the blade cutter but would also want to be able to install a regular SpeedFeed string trimmer head. Will a SpeedFeed string trimmer head fit on the SRM-410U or is this unit too heavy and powerfull for a string trimming?
I have the SRM-410U and it is amazing! I use the blade cutter and bruah cutter blade and they make swift work of projects.
Sounds like you're putting it to good use!

Does echo have a trade in program for 2 cycle trimmer or gas blower? Or is Grandfathered in? Is it only for 2cylce engines?
Will this work the Oregon All in One mulcher?
Yes. I highly recommended their 2 wing blade and Echo machines both excellent bits of kit!
How on God's earth to you assemble this thing???
