God I just want him to have one healthy playoff run. Even with the bums philly surrounds him with he can carry a team on a deep run if he can just stay healthy one year in the playoffs.
He probably could but the offense is so Embiid-centric is impossible for the team to stay afloat unless he’s averaging like 30. I hope Nick Nurse can bring something, no more running the clock down every possession and shit. Fuck Harden
When he plays physical he is literally unstoppable. Similar to KG, his problem is that he settles for jumpers too much and bails the defense out. He also looks for calls too often instead of just forcing the issue and bullying the defender. And with all of that being said, he’s still a top 5 player in the league
Yall niggas cry bc a center is talented and is able to do more than just running and dunking n play bully ball. If he can shoot there’s no problem w him hitting jumpers
Lol if you think Embiid can get a 1-on-1 matchup in the paint every position you simply don't know ball. These posessions are earned by keeping the defense honest at other ranges. Not to mention Embiid is the best midrange jumpshooter in the league.
@@jamessteen2342 did I once say he needs to get position every possession lol? I simply said he needs to do it more. Anyone who watches knows that he settles for jumpers wayyy too much. He’s way too big and skilled to be primarily a mid range jump shooter
Did you just compare Embiid to KG? KG’s biggest weakness was always his low post game because he had a high center of gravity and a relatively thin frame. He was more lethal as a spot up mid range shooter. Embiid on the other hand has always been a gifted post up player but he settles with jumpshots cuz he kinda struggles when he gets doubled. His decision making is not quick enough when he gets doubled although he improved in this area.
@@AC-nx7qr you said KGs weakness was his low post game?? No his weakness was not going in the low post enough. KG is my favorite PF ever but everyone and their mother knows he spent wayyy too much time taking jumpers instead of being on the block. Obviously embiid is bigger, but my point is still valid. And he gets doubled regardless. He puts way more pressure on the defense when he’s posting up and demanding double teams
It's really amazing the potential this guy has , a 7ft 280 lbs dominant master who also had great post up moves like a shaq- olajuwon hybrid, plus decent shooting. In 10 years we will be looking at his career saying how much more he could have been . Not that being top5 player in the league isnt good tho 😂 but he has top7 center all time potential
I think nick nurse can really unlock him but it's really up to him, he needs to focus on winning, not mvps, not all-stars, not dpoy just focus on winning and he can be truly great
@@momsspaghetti834this is so overplayed and just a stupid media narrative. What last year showed he didn't care about winning or that he was prioritizing MVP? But I agree that Nurse will help him take his game to another level. All that matters now is that he doesn't get a major injury like he's played through in 5/6 years in the playoffs.
@@jojoprocess2820 that's my point he never healthy in the playoffs cuz he's always trying to compete in the regular season trying to play all 82 games he's just not that durable and needs to compensate for that

He's always hurt not really his fault plus he's had 1 teammate since jimmy to average 20 in the playoffs and that was Maxey@@paquinraino8180

Embiid needs to do this all next season. No more catching the ball at the 3 point line
Yeah, maybe he'll win mvp and lose in 2d round in 7 games to a better Boston squad
