So basically you like a completely new guy who was a total thematic miss of why the movie was supposed to exist. This movie existed because Broly had fans. Erasing why he was loved makes the movie pointless. They could easily have made a sympathetic Broly who becoms a vindictive, sadistic asshole whe he transforms. To make bank off of Broly you should actually make Broly, not give him a Broly mask, call him Broly and call it a day.
